The T20I leg of the Proteas Women’s tour of New Zealand has come to a tough conclusion at Hagley Oval. The White Ferns delivered a dominant performance in the fifth and final T20I, securing a massive 92-run victory to wrap up the series.

Clinical Performance by the Hosts
New Zealand's women showed why they are so clinical on home soil, posting a formidable total that proved too much for the South African chase. Despite flashes of brilliance from the Proteas throughout the tour, the White Ferns' consistency earned them a 4-1 series win.
Lessons Learned
While the scoreline favors the hosts, the series provided the Proteas with vital experience in sub-zero conditions and high-pressure death-overs scenarios. The team will be looking to iron out the creases in their batting lineup as the format changes.
Next Stop: The ODI Series
There is no time to dwell on the T20 result. The Proteas Women are already shifting gears as they prepare for the One Day International (ODI) series kicking off this weekend. With more overs to work with and a different tactical approach, South Africa will be hunting for redemption.
