Herewith August 2024s incident report as captured by Mooirivier Beskerming in the Cachet Park Area We have seen a dramatic increase in Pick Pocketing and Scamming incidents as of late, where Pick Pocketers prey on club and bar patrons throughout the night and early mornings. Scammers tend to prey on unsuspecting students through spiritual or religious means or request that students leave their belongings with them in exchange for simple favours. Our security and monitoring personnel successfully identified and arrested a number of suspects throughout August, so thank you to them for being vigilant 24/7. We responded to 92 Buzzer alerts so far this year, so it's been proven to be an effective tool for you, our community to alert us of any suspicious activity. Keep those alerts coming. My husband bought tickets for Sunday and already people are saying they had such a bad experience. From staff being rude to only 2 life size dinos!! I am fuming. The packages were really expensive to buy. Not off to a good start.

Week 48 - Diary from The Go-To Guy A massive milestone 50,000 Followers – we did it! What an incredible milestone! The Jonsson Workwear Hero competition is also well underway, with the closing date being tomorrow, 30 November.  Abraham Kriel Liggiefees Gala Evening On Wednesday, 27 November, our CEO, Frans Joubert, attended the annual Abraham Kriel Liggiefees Gala Evening. It was an evening filled with lights, laughter and good food. GP van Rheede van Oudtshoorn and his band, Ginger Snaps, entertained the crowd throughout the evening, and the attendees were able to enjoy the lights and festive motives without large crowds.  Black Friday  One of the most anticipated days of the year is officially here! Black Friday sees amazing discounted prices on a lot of products - both in the shops and online. If you’re planning on braving the shops, be vigilant!
