In the heart of Potchefstroom, a small investment of time can lead to a lifetime of impact. Abraham Kriel Kinderhuis has issued a heartfelt call to the community for a dedicated volunteer to help one of their young residents unlock her true potential.

This isn't just about tutoring; it’s about mentorship, patience, and walking a path alongside a child who needs a little extra support to shine.
The Mission: Empowering a Young Student
The Children's Home is specifically looking for an Afrikaans-speaking individual to assist a Grade 5 girl with special educational needs.
While the student already receives reading and writing accommodations at school, she needs a specialized mentor to help her navigate effective study methods. For a child facing learning challenges, having a consistent, supportive figure to help simplify complex concepts can be the difference between frustration and a breakthrough.
How You Can Help
If you have a passion for education and a heart for children, this is your opportunity to give back. The requirements are simple but the impact is profound:
Focus: Assisting with study techniques and academic confidence.
Language: Must be proficient in Afrikaans.
Time Commitment: Mondays to Thursdays, from 15h00 to 16h00.
Flexibility: The home is open to working around your specific availability.
"We need a special individual who can walk a path with one of our children and help her reach her full potential." — Abraham Kriel Kinderhuis
