The local business community is dusting off its formal wear as ProPotch prepares to host its Annual General Meeting and Award Ceremony on 9 April 2026. The event, held at The Roots, serves as the primary gathering for the city’s entrepreneurs and corporate leaders to reflect on the past year and elect new management.
Beyond the administrative duties of the AGM, the evening is designed as a celebration of local industry. This year’s programme includes a formal three-course dinner and an awards segment dedicated to recognising the top-performing businesses in the area.
An Evening of Entertainment
The organisers have secured G.P. van Rheede van Oudtshoorn as the Master of Ceremonies for the night. Adding to the atmosphere, the Ginger Snap Band will provide live music, ensuring the evening remains social and engaging between the more formal proceedings.
Event Logistics and Attendance
Guests are expected to arrive at 18:00 for 18:30. As this is a black-tie affair, the dress code is strictly formal. Tickets are available at R450 per person, though the organisers have noted that officially nominated guests will be able to attend the ceremony free of charge.
For those planning to attend, the RSVP and ticket booking window is relatively short. All bookings must be finalised by 1 April 2026.
