Choirs, Kids and a Cracking Good Night of Song at MUSICA - 1 August

The NWU PUK-Choir is back at it again, rolling out the red carpet for Potch’s finest young vocal talents at this year’s MUSICA! Choir Festival. It’s happening on Friday, 1 August 2025, at 18:30 at the NG Church Miederpark. If you’re wondering whether this is a good excuse to skip making dinner, yes, yes it is.

The Line-Up

The NWU PUK-Choir will be sharing the stage with a few familiar names in the local choir circuit. Expect performances from:

• Baillie Park Junior Choir – little voices, big heart

• ML Fick Senior Choir – not their first rodeo

• Potchefstroom Girls High Choir – always sharp (musically and otherwise)

• Molen Kórus Chamber Choir – bringing the chamber vibes

• NWU PUK-Choir – the hosts with the harmonies

So it’s not just your average choir night. It’s a mini music marathon with sopranos, altos, tenors and basses all lining up for a well-organised, melodic evening. Think goosebumps, but the good kind.
