Die Mystic Boer Hosts Halloween Quiz Night - 29 October

Potchefstroom’s favourite haunt for music, mischief and memories, Die Mystic Boer, is hosting a Halloween Quiz Night on Wednesday, 29 October 2025, kicking off at 8 PM sharp. It’s set to be an evening where brains and beers meet broomsticks and bad puns.

The event will be hosted by PB and Elizbe, who promise to keep things lively, spooky and just the right amount of chaotic. Costumes aren’t compulsory, but given the date and venue, no one would be surprised if a few vampires showed up arguing over movie trivia.

Trick or Trivia, Witches?

The organisers describe the night simply: “Trick or trivia, witches? See you Wednesday evening @20:00 for a ghoulish evening of thinking and drinking.” The invitation comes with a wink and a dare, tag your teammates, bring your best guesses, and maybe brush up on your horror film knowledge while you’re at it.

No tickets are needed and there’s no cover charge, which means all you really need to bring is your sense of humour and maybe a friend who knows random facts about the 1980s.
