In an effort to equip young people with the tools they need to succeed in an ever-changing world, the Are Aganeng Organization has announced its upcoming Youth Empowerment Dialogue & Workshop. Under the inspiring theme, "Empowering Today, Shaping Tomorrow," the event aims to bridge the gap between potential and opportunity for local youth.
The workshop is scheduled for Thursday, 12 February 2026, at the Sarafina Hall, running from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.

A Comprehensive Approach to Growth
This isn't just a lecture; it's designed as an interactive space where attendees can engage directly with mentors and peers. The program focuses on five critical pillars of personal and professional development:
Leadership Skills: Encouraging youth to lead with confidence and find ways to make a tangible difference in their communities.
Career & Job Readiness: Providing practical advice on exploring career paths and preparing for the modern workforce.
Mental Health: A vital segment dedicated to discussing self-care and "coping stragisies" (strategies) for the unique pressures facing today's youth.
Social Impact: Exploring innovative ways to create positive change and become active citizens.
Public Health: Offering essential TB, HIV & AIDS, and STIs testing services on-site to promote community wellness.
Community Support and Governance
The event features a strong lineup of speakers and facilitators, including MC Mohau, who will lead the day's proceedings. The initiative is also supported by Ward Councilor Manzini Mosimanegeape, signaling a commitment from local leadership to invest in the youth.
Furthermore, the presence of the Department of Home Affairs and the IEC (Electoral Commission of South Africa) suggests that attendees may have access to essential civic services and voter education, critical components for any young person looking to claim their stake in the country's future.
