Fore - A Day for Life at Potch Country Club -13 February

The Potchefstroom Country Club is set to host the 2026 Golf Day For The One on Friday, 13 February 2026. This annual event, presented by For The One Pregnancy Care Centre (PCC) in collaboration with Potch 4 Life, invites the local community to participate in a round of golf for a greater purpose.

Tee-Off for a Cause

The day is not just about a few good swings; it is an effort to make a lasting impact. For The One PCC’s mission is focused on supporting women facing unexpected pregnancies, advocating for the value of every unborn child, and building safe places of refuge. The organisation also promotes adoption and foster care and works to empower families through the “A World Needs a Father” mentorship programme.

On the Course Details

The format for the competition is a Betterball Scramble Drive, where two scores count on the par 3s and par 5s. A shotgun start is scheduled for 10:00.

A Fourball, allowing four players, is priced at R2 200. Golf carts must be booked directly at the Pro Shop. To secure a Fourball, players are advised to confirm with Markus De Beer as spots are confirmed on a ‘first come, first serve’ basis.

Businesses and individuals are invited to get involved through various sponsorship opportunities.

Sponsor a Hole (Watering Hole): For R1 000 per hole, sponsors can contribute to the success of the day. Each hole should be staffed, offering players refreshments, and where appropriate, an opportunity to promote a business or service.

Other Contributions: Further support can be provided through the sponsorship of prizes for the day or through a general cash donation or contribution.
