Local rock and metal fans are in for a loud Saturday on 18 April 2026. The Snowflake venue, located at 1 Piet Bosman St, is set to host "Worlds Collide," an event bringing together some of the country's most prominent tribute acts and metal performers for a single-night marathon of heavy riffs.
The Line-up
The evening features a double-bill of South Africa's largest tribute bands. Meteora, a Linkin Park tribute, and 3 Dollar Bill, a Limp Bizkit experience, are the primary draws for the night. They are joined by Die Gemeente, currently one of the busiest metal acts in the country.
The local scene is represented by Kerk Straat, who will be handling the opening slot. Keeping the momentum going between sets is France The Planet, who serves as both the evening's MC and the DJ. Fans can expect a curated selection of rock and metal tracks throughout the night to ensure the volume never actually drops.
