A talented group of martial arts athletes from Potchefstroom and Klerksdorp has made their mark at the recent North West Championships. Now, several of them have qualified for the National Martial Arts Championship, a proud moment for our region. But here’s the catch: some of these athletes might miss out simply because they can’t afford the costs.

It Shouldn’t Come Down to Money 💸
Entry fees, transport, accommodation, and meals, it all adds up. And for families already under financial pressure, it’s a tough ask. That’s why we’re turning to our community, friends, neighbours, businesses, alumni, anyone who believes in backing hard work and local talent.
What the Funds Will Cover:
🥋 Entry fees for the National Championship
🚐 Transport to the event venue
🏨 Basic accommodation and meals if needed
Every rand will go straight towards helping these athletes get to nationals. No frills, just the essentials they need to compete with confidence and pride.

This Is More Than Just a Tournament 🥇
These athletes train with discipline, focus, and respect. For them, this championship isn’t just a competition, it’s a chance to grow, to learn, and to represent their province. They’re not just learning to kick and punch. They’re becoming young leaders with confidence, self-control, and determination.
You Can Help 👊
Here’s how:
Donate any amount, even small contributions add up
Share this message with your networks, friends, and community groups
Encourage local businesses to get involved
Let’s back our athletes. Let’s show them they’ve got a community behind them.
Help us make sure no child is left behind because of financial limits. One kick, one punch, one kata at a time, we can make this happen. 💥
