The netball courts of the province have officially been painted in the proud colors of Technical High School Klerksdorp (HTS). In what will go down as one of the most successful and dominant weekends in the school's sporting history, the HTS netball department sent shockwaves through the region at the prestigious Dr Kenneth Kaunda (KK) Platinum League Semi-Finals and Finals.

Fielding teams that played with immaculate tactical precision, raw determination, and an unbreakable team spirit, HTS Klerksdorp walked away with a clean sweep of podium finishes, headlined by their 1st Team lifting the coveted championship trophy.

The 1st XV Elite: Undisputed Platinum Champions

The flagship 1st Netball Team produced a masterclass in high-pressure sportsmanship throughout the finals. Going toe-to-toe with the fiercest elite schools in the Dr Kenneth Kaunda district, the HTS ladies showed incredible resilience, brilliant defensive intercepts, and clinical accuracy under the post to be officially crowned the Dr Kenneth Kaunda Platinum League Champions!

Their historic gold-medal run is the ultimate reward for a season defined by blood, sweat, and tireless conditioning.

The Next Generation: Podiums for U/14 and U/15

The phenomenal success of the senior team was perfectly mirrored by the junior ranks, proving that the structural coaching and development pathways at HTS are operating at a world-class level:

🥈 Under-15 Team – League Runners-Up (2nd Place Overall): The U/15 squad fought like warriors through a grueling knockout stage, falling just short in a thrilling final to secure a magnificent silver medal.
🥉 Under-14 Team – 3rd Place Overall: The youngest competitive tier showcased their immense potential, overcoming tournament nerves to dominate their third-place playoff and claim a proud bronze podium finish.

With a Platinum League trophy safely locked in the cabinet and three teams finishing on the provincial podium, HTS Klerksdorp has firmly established itself as a premier netball institution.
