Indian Ocean Rhythms Set for Potchefstroom

Potchefstroom locals are in for a change of pace this month as the Alliance Française Potchefstroom brings a taste of Réunion Island to the Highveld. On 30 March 2026, singer-songwriter Ziia will take the stage at the Snowflake Venue for an evening titled "Island Vibes in Potch."

Ziia, an artist known for her multicultural sound, incorporates a mix of French and English lyrics into her performances. Her music draws heavily from the soul and pop influences of the Indian Ocean, offering a rhythmic style that differs from the usual local circuit.
