Local music lovers and market-goers are in for a treat this winter when the Rooy Food Market returns with its signature blend of artisan eats, quirky finds, and live entertainment. On Sunday the 29th of June, from 10:00 until 15:00, Van Rooyen Hall at 33 Piet Bosman Street will host the beloved Rooy Food Market & Car Boot Sale, and this time, live music will come courtesy of the acoustic duo J & B.
Local Duo J & B to Light Up the Stage
J & B, known for their raw acoustic sound and vocal chemistry, will be performing live at the market, providing the perfect backdrop for a relaxed Sunday. Expect laid-back tunes, a bit of banter, and the kind of music that goes down well with a cup of strong filter coffee and a freshly baked pastei in hand.
No bookings needed, just rock up and enjoy.
More Than Just a Market
This isn’t your average browse-and-buy affair. The Rooy Food Market brings together a wide selection of artisan food, eats and treats, cheese, meat, handicrafts, and a car boot sale packed with potential treasures. Whether you're there for a quick bite, a unique gift, or just to people-watch with a boerie roll, it ticks the Sunday-outing box.
Best part? Entrance is free. Wallets are safe, until you see the handmade chutneys and sourdough.
