The JB Marks Local Municipality, through the Department of Housing Development & Planning, has officially announced a series of Housing Consumer Education workshops scheduled throughout March 2026.
Spearheaded by Cllr. Adrë Lee-Rail Swarts (MMC for Housing Development & Planning), this initiative focuses on the implementation of the National Housing Needs Register (NHNR). The program is designed to streamline the housing application process and ensure that the municipal database accurately reflects the needs of the community.

Workshop Schedule and Locations
Residents are encouraged to attend the session corresponding to their specific ward. All workshops are scheduled to begin at 08H00.
