The municipality has highlighted specific closures regarding financial and licensing services:
General Cashier Services: All payment windows will close at 13:00 on Thursday and remain closed through the long weekend.
Traffic Department: Cashier services within the Traffic Department follow the same timeline, pausing on Thursday afternoon and reopening on Tuesday morning.
Continuity of Essential Services
While administrative branches will be closed, the JB Marks Local Municipality has assured the public that essential services will remain fully operational to ensure community safety and hygiene. These services will continue to function on their normal schedules without interruption.
The departments remaining on duty include:
Law Enforcement: To maintain public order and support road safety initiatives.
