Advice for Residents
The Communication Unit of the JB Marks Local Municipality encourages residents to store sufficient water for household use—such as drinking, cooking, and basic hygiene—prior to the 06h00 cutoff on Tuesday morning.
While the municipality aims to resume pumping operations immediately after the tie-in works are completed, the duration of the outage is dependent on the complexity of the installation.
"These upgrades form part of ongoing efforts to improve water infrastructure and service delivery to the public," the municipality stated. "We apologize for any inconvenience caused and appreciate the community's patience."
