Kiddies Day Fun at West Acres Centre - 4 October

Holiday Kick-off with Games and Giggles

On Saturday, 4 October, West Acres Shopping Centre in Potchefstroom will be swapping shopping bags for silly games as families gather for Kiddies Day Fun. From 10:00 until 13:00, the centre will be buzzing with activity, laughter and the occasional burst of confetti as children line up to play, compete and generally cause the sort of chaos that parents secretly love to watch.

Hosted by Johnny Snowball

The morning will be steered by Johnny Snowball, whose job will be to keep kids entertained, prizes flowing and parents from sneaking the jelly beans. With a line-up of classic and quirky games, there will be something to suit every small participant, no matter their competitive streak.

• Jar Guessing Game (with jelly beans, Astros and lollipops waiting to be claimed)

Every game offers prizes for winners and even for those who just give it a try, so no child will leave empty-handed.

The big finish comes in the form of a piñata smash, which will rain down sweets for all. It is likely to be a free-for-all scramble, but at least everyone goes home with sugar to balance out the morning’s exertions.
