Potchefstroom’s golfing community is gearing up for a competitive weekend as Landbou Golf Club prepares to host its latest club event. Scheduled for Saturday, 14 March 2026, the day features a League match against Zeerust, set against the backdrop of the Landbou course.
Tournament Format and Fees
The competition will be played in a Betterball Stableford format. This popular setup generally allows for a more relaxed pace of play, as partners work together to post the best score on each hole.
The club has structured the entry fees to accommodate a variety of players:
Club Members: R180
Affiliated Visitors: R220
Non-affiliated Visitors: R250
A Day for the Local Golfing Community
While the League match against Zeerust adds a competitive edge to the proceedings, the event is also designed as a social gathering for local enthusiasts. The organisers have noted that the focus remains on the spirit of the game and the opportunity for players to connect on the fairways.
Following the round, the clubhouse will be open for players to tally their scores and socialise. It is often these "after-hours" moments that define the local club experience, offering a chance for regulars and visitors alike to catch up.

Bookings and Enquiries
Golfers interested in participating or those requiring a golf cart for the round are encouraged to finalise their arrangements ahead of time. Bookings can be made directly through the pro shop.
