The Lekwena Wildlife Estate, in partnership with Engel & Völkers Potchefstroom, is preparing to welcome pilots and aviation enthusiasts for its Fly-In on Saturday, 20 September 2025. The event runs from 7am to 11am, with landing slots open between 7am and 10am.
The venue is Lekwena Wildlife Estate’s private airstrip, just off the N12 outside Potchefstroom. Coordinates are clearly marked for those relying on precision navigation: Latitude S 26°38’15.51” and Longitude 27°11’6.66”.
Landing and Breakfast
The landing fee? Nothing. Zero. Gratis. But the organisers have cleverly ensured nobody leaves on an empty stomach. A buffet breakfast at R180 per person includes coffee and juice. Pilots may fly in hungry, but they’ll fly out fed.
Registration and Contacts
Registration is essential, and bookings close on Monday, 15 September. To secure a spot, interested pilots and guests can contact Crystal on 073-187-9295 or Pieter on 082-313-5219. For broader enquiries, Lekwena can be reached on 071 604 7952 or 072 908 6870
Extra Activities
Those who want to swap cockpit views for game-viewing vehicles can join a guided game drive across Lekwena’s 2,300 hectares. Accommodation is not provided on-site, but assistance with local options is available. Early booking is encouraged as spaces are limited.
