The Leopards Senior Women’s Rugby team continued their unbeaten start to the 2026 Pick n Pay Women’s Super League 2, securing a hard-fought 26–17 victory against the SWD Eagirls at Outeniqua Park in George. Following their massive opening-round win in Polokwane, the Leopards faced a stern test on the road but managed to control the tempo of the game early on, maintaining their position at the top tier of the tournament standings.

Early Dominance and Clinical Execution
The Leopards established control from the opening whistle, exposing gaps in the Eagirls' defensive line to run in two quick-fire tries within the first 10 minutes. This explosive start put immediate pressure on the hosts. The Leopards continued to press their advantage, crossing the line for a third time shortly before the halftime whistle to secure a commanding 19–7 lead at the break, forcing the Eagirls into a challenging chase.

However, the Leopards delivered the decisive blow in the 50th minute, scoring their fourth try of the match to stretch the lead to 26–17. This crucial score deflated the home crowd's hopes and allowed the visitors to successfully manage the remaining minutes of the match.
