While Aardklop week fills the town with art and theatre, Meraki @ Dia Bêbado’s Pub & Grill will be adding its own soundtrack to the festivities. The local spot is hosting an evening of free live music, good food, and those “lekker specials” they’re quietly famous for.
The Line-up: Three Acts, One Long Jol
The live entertainment kicks off at 5 PM with Takhaar, known for their easy-going energy and acoustic tunes. Things pick up at 7 PM when Wanderlust takes the stage, a band that always brings solid local rock energy and crowd favourites. Rounding off the night is DJ Gambelli, who’ll be spinning from 9 PM till late, keeping the vibe alive long after the guitars are packed away.
Aardklop Week Meets Local Vibes
In true Meraki style, the evening promises more than just music. With free entrance, it’s a laid-back chance to enjoy good company, local sounds, and a cold drink or two, no tickets, no stress. The timing couldn’t be better, slipping perfectly into the rhythm of Aardklop week when everyone’s out and about looking for something festive but fuss-free.
So if you’re already in Potch for Aardklop, or just keen on live music without the ticket drama, Meraki’s got your Saturday night sorted. Bring your mates, come early, and let the music do the talking.
