Make Your Ballsiest Move Yet: Hollard Daredevil Run Heads to Potchefstroom - 31 October

The Hollard Daredevil Run is coming to Potchefstroom this October, inviting local gents to take to the streets in nothing but their trademark purple Speedos, all for a seriously good cause.

Entries are open at www.ticketpro.co.za, and the fee includes a couriered registration pack and, of course, the famous complimentary purple Speedo.

A Run With a Purpose

The Hollard Daredevil Run isn’t your typical jog. It’s a tongue-in-cheek challenge with a serious message, to raise awareness around prostate and testicular cancer and to encourage men to take their health seriously.

Funds raised through the event go directly to the Cancer Association of South Africa (CANSA) and the Prostate Cancer Foundation of South Africa. The money supports testing in under-resourced areas, as well as awareness, support, and ongoing research.

The event has grown steadily each year, with past runs drawing crowds from schools, corporates, community groups and first-timers alike. This year, organisers hope to top those numbers and keep the conversation around men’s health moving, loudly and proudly.

Don’t Feel Like Running?

Not everyone’s up for a Speedo sprint, and that’s perfectly fine. Those who prefer to contribute from the sidelines can donate through BackaBuddy or directly into the event account to help fund testing and awareness drives. QR codes for both options are available on event posters.
