Adoption isn’t just about giving a dog a home, it’s about making space for more rescues and creating a ripple effect of kindness. At Paws Haven, a few furry characters are waiting patiently for their turn. Each with their own quirks, they’re more than ready to slot into someone’s life.
Sasha – The Social Butterfly
Breed: German Shepherd X
Age: Around 3 years
Sex: Female
Sasha has been at the shelter for over a year, but she hasn’t lost her spark. She’s a dog who thrives on interaction, whether it’s people, other dogs or even cats. Always up for a cuddle or a playdate, she’s the type to make friends in the queue at the vet.

Nanni – The Adventure Buddy
Breed: Mixed Breed
Age: Around 2 years
Sex: Female
Nanni is full of energy and curiosity. The kind of dog who will gladly drag you on hikes, runs or whatever outdoor activity you think you’re leading. Spoiler: you’re not. With her by your side, no outing will ever be boring again.

Archie – Curious and Calm
Breed: Lab X
Age: Around 2 years
Sex: Male
Archie is the quiet observer. He prefers to watch life from the sidelines, but don’t mistake that for being aloof. He’s calm, soft-hearted and won’t ever overwhelm you. He’s the type of dog that proves companionship doesn’t always need to be loud to be felt.

Hazel – The Gentle Soul
Breed: Lab X
Age: Around 4 years
Sex: Female
Hazel is soft-natured and thrives in a calm household. She’s happiest in spaces where she can feel safe and loved without too much fuss. For anyone wanting a steady, loyal presence, she might just be the perfect match.

Ellie – The Old Soul
Breed: Lab X (short legs)
Age: Around 3 years
Sex: Female
Ellie’s journey has been one of quiet progress. Once content to hide away in her bed, she now greets visitors at the shelter. Calm, wise and loving, she’s proof that patience pays off. Her short legs only add to her character, she’s the kind of dog who shows you that growth comes in small steps.

Shelter dogs often come with more life experience than expected. Many are already house-trained, socialised, and waiting for someone to notice them. They’re not broken, just overlooked. Each one of these dogs has already done the hard work of becoming a great companion. All they need now is someone to give them the chance.
🐶 Don’t scroll past, share them, visit them, or even better, adopt them.
