Potchefstroom locals can look forward to a night of art, healing, and a bit of good old South African humour at Pesto’s on 6 June 2025. The event, billed as a “Mosaic Evening,” promises a unique mix of creativity and comfort for anyone keen to reconnect with themselves and others.
An Evening of Pieces and Purpose
Life has a knack for breaking us into pieces, but on this evening, those pieces will be put to good use. Guests will be treated to a heartfelt talk by Haroldine Hill, who comes all the way from Potch Trauma Recovery. She’s been around the block and back, and she’s got a few good stories to tell, tissues optional, but probably a good idea.
Hands-On Healing and Artistic Flair
After the talk, attendees will roll up their sleeves (not literally, unless they want to) for a hands-on mosaic project. The idea is to symbolise hope and restoration, something we could all use, let’s be honest. And because no good story or creative session should happen on an empty stomach, dinner and drinks are included in the ticket price. R350 per person gets you all this plus a mosaic kit to keep the evening’s creative vibes going.
Booking and Details
The evening kicks off at 18:00 at Pesto’s, 1077 Modderdam Road,Potchefstroom Rural 1. If you’re keen to join, best to book your spot, these things fill up fast, and you don’t want to be the only one stuck at home while everyone else is smashing tiles and having a laugh.
