A Creative Morning in Potchefstroom
My Creative Fix is hosting a Tote Bag Fabric Painting Workshop with Katelyn on 25 October 2025, from 10:00 to 12:30, at 9 Reitz Street, Potchefstroom. It’s the kind of morning event that feels productive yet relaxed, ideal for anyone who wants to add a personal touch to something useful.
What It’s About
Katelyn will guide attendees through the process of designing and painting their own reusable tote bags. The workshop is hands-on but friendly, no need to have any prior experience, just a willingness to give it a go. Participants will learn basic techniques, colour mixing tips, and how to turn a simple idea into a design that looks genuinely good out in the real world.
Everything needed for the session is provided, so there’s no need to bring a stash of art supplies or raid the linen cupboard for an old pillowcase to practise on.
The Details
Tickets are R220 per person, and all materials are included in the price. It’s a small, social event, so early booking is advised, and it’s always more fun with a friend who doesn’t mind a little paint on their hands.
Bookings can be made online via www.mycreativefix.co.za , or by sending a quick message on WhatsApp: 064-681-3914.
Between Katelyn’s guidance and the promise of leaving with a custom-painted tote bag, this workshop offers a satisfying blend of creativity and practicality. It’s not every day you get to walk out of a Saturday morning session with something handmade that also helps you ditch plastic bags, that’s a win on all fronts.
