The celebrated Ndlovu Youth Choir is heading to Potchefstroom as part of their 2025 Heritage Tour. The performance will take place on 16 September 2025 at the Snowflake Venue, located at 2 Kock Street, Central, Potchefstroom. Tickets are priced at R260 per person, with “babes in arms” free, but all other children requiring a seated ticket.
A Choir With Global Footprints
This isn’t just another choir stop on the map. The Ndlovu Youth Choir has performed on some of the world’s most iconic stages, from Carnegie Hall in New York City to the Berlin Philharmonie and the North Sea Jazz Festival. They rose to international recognition on America’s Got Talent, and since then, their collaborations have stretched from Disney and Netflix productions to working with global stars like Pink and Kygo. Their efforts have even contributed to raising over $5 million for UNICEF.
But Home Is Where the Heart Sings
Despite the international spotlight, the choir remains deeply rooted in South Africa. Their music and performances continue to celebrate the country’s diversity and unity, carried through their distinctive harmonies, energetic dance, and infectious joy. The Heritage Tour is less about world domination and more about bringing that same spirit home, reminding audiences of who we are and where we come from.
The Heritage Tour
This nationwide tour will criss-cross towns and cities, including Polokwane, Groblersdal, Mbombela, Rustenburg, Emalahleni, Potchefstroom, Soneto, Welkom, Kimberley, Bloemfontein, Sasolburg, Pretoria, and ending at the SunBet Arena. Potchefstroom’s stop at Snowflake promises to be one of the tour’s key highlights.
From their small-town beginnings to international acclaim, the Ndlovu Youth Choir keeps proving that South Africa’s sound belongs everywhere. But if you’d rather not fly to New York to catch them, Potchefstroom in September might just be the easier option.
