Netball and Soccer Trials Set To Kick Off In Ward 09 - 31 May

Ward Councillor invites aspiring athletes to try out for the Cashibe Mayoral Cup

The residents of Ward 09 better dust off their takkies and shake off the rust, because trials for both netball and soccer are officially on the calendar. Cllr Mantwa Matilda Kasale is calling on all interested locals to come and show what they’ve got on the court and the field. The trials are in preparation for the upcoming Cashibe Mayoral Cup, and if the name sounds fancy, it’s because it probably is.

• Time: 09:00 sharp (yes, that means be early, or risk doing warmups twice)

• Venue: Ikageng Stadium (the place where dreams are made… or at least tested)

No Experience Necessary – Just Bring Energy

There’s no mention of a dress code, but let’s assume boots and bibs are better than flip-flops and jeans. The invite is open to “all interested individuals”, which sounds like everyone from the local hotshot to that one uncle who’s still convinced he could’ve gone pro.

So, if you think you’ve got what it takes, or if you just want to be part of the action, Ikageng Stadium is the place to be on the 31st.
