PCC Business League Returns in 2025 - 16 October to 20 November

The Potchefstroom Country Club is dusting off the bowls and bringing back its much-loved Business League this year. The competition promises a mix of friendly rivalry, casual networking and the occasional debate over who really knows how to read a green.
Dates and Times
The 2025 league will run every Thursday evening from 16 October to 20 November. Players are asked to gather at 17:30 for an 18:00 start. The format keeps the evenings compact, so there’s still time afterwards for a debrief or a post-game drink.
Entries close on 10 October 2025, so teams have a few weeks to get organised.
Entry Details
R2,500 for a standard team entry
R3,500 if you’d like to add some visibility with your business advert displayed on boards.
Registration form:
The advertising option comes with a discount: normally a board would set you back R1,650, but this year it’s available at just R1,000 for a full year. Printing costs are for the business’s account, but the exposure is a fair trade-off.
The league is capped at 24 teams. According to organisers, only ten spots remain open, so those keen to enter shouldn’t delay.
Venue
All games will be played at the Potchefstroom Country Club, situated on Mooi River Avenue, Potchefstroom, 2520. The setting has become a familiar home for the competition, with its greens already prepared for the October start.
