Pellie Smith Circuit Fest 2025: Inflatable Boat Racing Hits Potch Dam - 1 November

The Formula Inflatable Boat Club (F1IBC) has announced that its annual Pellie Smith Circuit Fest will be making waves at Potchefstroom Dam on 1 November 2025. It’s not your average lazy day by the water, it’s a full day of engine noise, spray, and plenty of competition.

A Day of Serious (and Seriously Fun) Racing

The event forms part of the club’s Race Development Day, giving racers a chance to test skill, speed, and staying power across three heats before the final race. Expect plenty of water spray and more than a few bragging rights on the line.

Competitors will battle it out in three categories:

• Standard Class

• Pro-Stock Class

• Modified Class

Each class brings its own style of racing, but all promise action that’s as loud as it is fast.
