A short but sharp showcase
The Potchefstroom Academy’s students are rolling out their work once again, this time in a concentrated burst of creativity. The annual Student Work Exhibition brings together two of the Academy’s strongest fields, Interior Design and Photography, for a one-night-only opening event.
When and where
The exhibition opens on 19 November 2025, from 18:00 to 18:30. Yes, you read that right, it’s only half an hour. Blink and you might miss it. The venue is 59 Dr James Moroka Avenue, Potchefstroom.
Dress to impress
There’s a strict dress code: All Black. Whether it’s black jeans, black tie or the trusty black T-shirt, it’s all about blending in so the work on show can stand out.
What to expect
Last year’s exhibition left an impression with its mix of design concepts and photographic perspectives. According to organisers, this year promises to be “bigger, bolder, and brighter”. It’s an opportunity for the students to show how far they’ve come in shaping spaces and capturing stories through images.
Just arrive dressed in black, find your spot, and support the students.
