The first-ever, highly anticipated FNB Classic Clash between Potchefstroom High School for Boys and Technical High School Klerksdorp took place this past weekend, delivering an unforgettable day of fierce rivalry, unyielding sportsmanship, and elite schoolboy talent.
When the dust finally settled across the fields, courts, and boards, it was the host institution, Potchefstroom Boys' High, that stood tall as the undisputed ultimate victors of the 2026 FNB Classic Clashes. From the opening whistles to the final handshakes, the famous "School Spirit" was entirely unmatched.

The main event on the rugby field saw the school 1st XV produce a tactical and physical masterclass. Playing in front of a roaring, packed crowd, the hosts unleashed a devastating attacking display to sink HTS Klerksdorp 38 - 22 in a thrilling exhibition of running rugby.
