The halls of Promosa Primary are buzzing with excitement this week as one of our very own, Angelize Booysen, prepares to take on the best in the country. Angelize has officially qualified for the National Athletics Championships, taking place from 19 – 21 March 2026 in the Western Cape.

Chasing Gold in the Western Cape
Competing in the Under 10, 80-meter sprint, Angelize has consistently demonstrated explosive speed and a "never-give-up" attitude on the track. Reaching the national stage is no small feat; it is the result of countless hours of training, discipline, and the unwavering support of her coaches, teachers, and family.
A Beacon of School Pride
The school motto, "Kennis Oorwin" (Knowledge Conquers), is reflected in Angelize’s approach to her sport—learning every day, perfecting her technique, and conquering her goals. She carries the pride of the entire Promosa community with her as she heads to the coast.
"We are incredibly proud of Angelize. She embodies the spirit of our school through her dedication and sportsmanship. We know she will give her absolute best on the track!" — Promosa Primary School Community.
