Purple Carrot Chef School Open Day - 27 September

Purple Carrot Chef School is opening its doors for two Open Days where curious cooks, future students and supportive parents can nose around the kitchens without being chased off by a head chef. Expect a peek at real training in action and a chance to chat to the people who actually do the work.

When and Where

• Dates: Saturday 27 September 2025 and Saturday 4 October 2025

• Time: 09:00 to 13:00

• Venue: 2 Luke Street, Potchefstroom

What’s On

• Meet the chefs and students. They are friendly and they have knives, which is a good motivation to be friendly back.

• Take a tour of the kitchen and campus to see where the magic gets cleaned up afterwards.

• Talk with the third-years while they prep for their final Chef’s Table experience. They know things, and they will tell you.

• Watch the Culinary Competition carry on heating up with top young talent in action. No shouting required, although light cheering is acceptable.

• All ages welcome.
