An Evening of Questions and Curry

Blank Canvas Café is hosting a quiz night on Friday, 26 September 2025, starting at 18:00. The café, tucked into 72 Thabo Mbeki Way on the NWU campus (Gate 6, same building as the Biokinetics, Bult, Potchefstroom), is opening its doors for teams of trivia lovers to gather, eat and put their knowledge to the test.

For R125 per person, participants get entry to the quiz plus a hearty serving of curry, rice and salad. The organisers have also made sure that a cash bar will be on hand to keep spirits lifted between questions.

How It Works

The rules are simple: teams of 2 to 6 people can register ahead of time by booking on WhatsApp at

072-021-3364. To avoid disappointment, the café recommends reserving a spot early.

There’s also a dress-up twist, attendees are encouraged to celebrate Heritage Day by dressing up. It’s not compulsory, but it’s an excuse to dig out that Springbok jersey or dust off a bit of traditional attire.
