Quiz Night Heads to Blank Canvas Café - 22 August

The Blank Canvas Café is set to host a Quiz Night on Friday 22 August 2025, starting at 18:00. Located at 72 Thabo Mbeki Way on the NWU campus (Gate 6, in the same building as Biokinetics, Bult, Potchefstroom), the event aims to combine a bit of friendly competition with a hearty plate of spaghetti and meatballs.

Cost and What’s Included

Entry is R125 per person, which covers participation in the quiz as well as the meal. A cash bar will be available for anyone who needs something stronger than coffee to get through the geography round.

Teams and Booking

Teams can be made up of between two and six people, so whether it’s a couple looking for a low-stakes night out or a group of friends ready to argue over sports trivia, there’s room at the table. Bookings can be made via WhatsApp on 072-021-3364.

A Café with a View

Blank Canvas Café, known for its speciality coffee and unique view, serves as more than just a quiz venue. While the trivia will be the main draw on the night, the setting might make it a little harder to concentrate, especially for anyone already distracted by the food.
