Steyn City, 12–13 September, Saints Christian School’s U19 girls cricket team delivered a flawless tournament, finishing unbeaten and clinching the Steyn City Girls Tournament title with composure, depth, and star turns across the XI.

The final: Captain leads, bowlers squeeze

Facing the hosts in the showpiece game, Saints restricted Steyn City to 72/8 with disciplined lines and sharp fielding.

Tshegofatso Monyela (captain) sliced through the middle order with 3/16, then returned with the bat to steer the chase with a calm, unbeaten 38. Saints crossed the line by 6 wickets, underlining their control in pressure moments.

The statement win: A 195-run powerhouse

Earlier in the day, Saints overpowered Northcliff High School in a 195-run victory built on clinical batting:

Reabetswe Dithipe — a flawless 100 (ret.)*, timing and placement on full display.
Diarabilwe Ngubeni — a classy 84, rotating strike and punishing width.
