Saints Christian School is proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of Grade 7 learner Mofenyi Olaniran, who recently received a call-up to represent Volkies Potchefstroom’s 2nd Cricket Team ,and he did not disappoint. Taking part in the team’s July tour, Mofenyi showed composure, maturity and raw talent beyond his years, competing against older and more experienced opponents from top cricketing schools.

Here’s a breakdown of Mofenyi’s standout performances:

📌 Game 1 vs Clifton High u/15A – 3 wickets for 7 runs in 3.4 overs

📌 Game 2 vs DHS 2nd team – 0/27 in 4 overs

📌 Game 3 vs Glenwood 2nd team – Scored 10 (22) & took 2/45 in 10 overs

📌 Game 4 vs Northwood 2nd team – Scored 20 (32) & took 5/29 in 9.2 overs

His 5-wicket haul against Northwood was a tour highlight, showcasing his ability to rise to the occasion and make a meaningful impact with both bat and ball.
