14 October | Building a Better Future Through Sport
Our StroomStories studio welcomed Renier, Boka, and Wian, three NWU honours students in Enterprise Management who are proving that leadership isn’t just learned in class.
They’re the passionate team behind the October Hockey Challenge 2025, happening 18 October at Baillie Park. Designed for Grade 1–7 learners, this fun, five-a-side tournament is more than just a day of hockey , it’s a community movement.
Their goal: to purchase and donate hockey equipment to schools and children who can’t afford their own.
Their mission: to make sure every young player in Potch gets the chance to play the game they love.
The interview was filled with energy, purpose, and inspiration , a reminder that small ideas, when powered by passion, can spark real change. SportStroom
