22 July – Roux’s New Single Hits the Right Notes
This week, we had the pleasure of chatting with Roux, a proud Potchefstromer whose heart and rhythm flow through his brand-new single. StroomStories brought his journey to life, one beat at a time.
24 July – Kayla Talks Aandmark 2025
We caught up with Kayla from Gereformeerde Kerk Cachet to talk about Aandmark 2025, happening on 30 August (16:00–20:00) at the Gereformeerde Kerk Museum. Think delicious vetkoek, warm community vibes, and fundraising for much-needed upgrades and new equipment.

24 July – Regardt Kleingeld: Building Gimmies Rugby
We also spoke with Regardt Kleingeld, Rugby Director at Potchefstroom Gimnasium, about his vision and mission for the future of Gimmies rugby. From strategy to spirit, this chat had it all.

Ikageng Highlights
26 July – Supatsela Development Cup U11
Ikageng was alive with football passion as young players lit up the field during the Supatsela Development Cup Under-11. These rising stars showed us what the future of local football looks like.
We also had a great conversation with Lepetjo, who provided expert analysis of the tournament. From grassroots determination to community support, this was a weekend full of talent and pride.

22 July – Angelique’s Vat Verniet Tafel Project
We met with Angelique to talk about her heartfelt Vat Verniet Tafel project, helping those in need with food, clothes, and essentials, all given freely and with love.

23 July – HJ Moolman’s Call for Change
Our team also spoke with HJ Moolman, DA Caucus Leader, who’s calling on residents to sign a petition supporting municipal secession to make local government more sustainable and effective. A bold step towards real change for Potchefstroom and Ventersdorp.
24 July – Flo-Tek’s New Era of Powertools
Exciting news for Potch DIY lovers, Flo-Tek is opening a brand-new store featuring top power tool brands like Kress, CAT, and Worx. Soon to be located at the corner of Palmiet- and Maree Street, it’s set to become the destination for quality tools and serious workmanship.
