On Thursday, we highlighted what is shaping up to be the coziest and most meaningful winter evening of the season. Hand in hand with local businesses, corporate sponsors, and wine experts, we are gearing up for a spectacular Charity Wine Auction hosted in aid of the Potchefstroom Service Centre for the Elderly (Dienssentrum vir Bejaardes).

July 12: Fire on the Concrete – The Winter War Street Dance Battles

Over in Ikageng, the winter chill was completely obliterated on Saturday as the community converged on the Ikageng Basketball Courts for the legendary Winter War Street Dance Battles!

When it comes to authentic township street culture, you need curators who understand the pulse of the community, and the turnout for this event was historic. The battles brought together the finest raw b-boys, hip-hop dancers, and street crews from across the region, turning the cold concrete into a high-energy arena of rhythm, athletic stunts, and fierce creative competition.
