Turns out Uni Constructors knows how to throw a birthday bash that doesn’t involve cake and awkward small talk. Instead, they’re offering something that might actually help you fix the dodgy curtain situation in your lounge.
To celebrate five years in the business, the Potch-based construction and interior crew is hosting a Home Décor Workshop, and here’s the kicker: it’s free.
What’s the Deal?
Taking place at Designer Board & Décor, 41 Nelson Mandela Drive, the workshop kicks off on 2 August 2025, in collaboration with Tile Africa, Designer Boards, and Sovereign Elite Marketing Agency.
The day promises practical advice on sprucing up your kitchen, bathroom, living room, and bedrooms. Yes, even the room you only use when your in-laws visit.
What’s Actually Happening?
Here’s what attendees can expect:
Interior design tips from real professionals (not just your aunt who owns scatter cushions)
Live Q&A sessions with industry experts, in case you’ve always wondered whether open shelves are really a good idea
Showroom tours and samples, because touching tiles is more satisfying than it should be
Exclusive discounts, up to 50% off selected custom items
Giveaways and prizes, because who doesn’t love free stuff?
If that’s not enough, Tile Africa is sweetening the deal with:
5% off all tiles
Up to 10% off Nuvo sanitaryware (yes, even the posh taps)
Who Should Go?
If you own a home, rent a place, live in a shack, or are just mildly interested in not living like a student forever, this is for you. And with no entry fee, there’s really no excuse unless you’re allergic to décor or free things.
