  • Le Floss: Spinning Sweet Memories in Potchefstroom

In a world where celebrations are marked by the sights, sounds, and tastes that linger long after the day is done, few things capture pure joy quite like candy floss. Known fondly in Afrikaans as spookasem , this airy, cloud-like treat has been delighting both children and adults for generations. In Potchefstroom, one local business has mastered the art of transforming sugar into magic - Le Floss . Image: The Go-To Guy Creations The Sweet Science of Candy Floss Candy floss is more than just spun sugar. It’s a delicate balance of science and artistry. The process begins with granulated sugar poured into a specialised machine. Once heated, the sugar melts into a liquid state before being spun at high speed. This motion forces the liquid sugar through tiny holes, where it instantly cools and solidifies into gossamer threads. Those threads are carefully collected to create a fluffy, cloud-like confection that melts in your mouth. Add a splash of colour, perhaps the blush of pink vanilla, the cool hue of blue raspberry, or the tangy green apple and you have a treat that is as visually appealing as it is delicious. At Le Floss, flavour variety is a signature feature, with each batch tailored to the client’s theme, taste, and event needs. A Local Business with Heart Le Floss was founded in 2022 by Jolandi , a Potchefstroom resident with a passion for creating moments of joy. What started as a small home-based project has grown into a much-loved local brand, known for vibrant service, beautiful presentation, and an ability to make every event a little sweeter. As a proudly local business, Le Floss combines personal attention with professional quality, ensuring every order meets high standards. Over the past three years, Jolandi has perfected her craft, building a reputation for reliability, flexibility, and a personal touch that larger companies often can’t match. This makes Le Floss a popular choice for birthdays, school functions, fundraisers, corporate gatherings, and community events. Blue raspberry adds a tart twist, green apple brings a refreshing zing, and seasonal or custom flavours can be requested. Matching colours to a party theme or company brand is a popular option, turning each treat into both a dessert and a decorative element. The Perfect Addition to Any Event Candy floss has universal appeal. For children, it’s a novelty and a treat; for adults, it’s a nostalgic trip back to school fêtes and funfairs. At fundraisers, it’s a proven crowd-pleaser. At corporate events, it’s a conversation starter. With Le Floss, the presentation is just as important as the taste, ensuring your guests remember the experience.

Elke bydrae maak daadwerklik 'n verskil.

Image : The Go-To Guy Creations Common Carpet Types in Businesses, Schools, and Homes Carpets come in various materials and constructions, each suited to different environments. Below we list and describe the types of carpets typically found in commercial settings, educational facilities, and residential homes, along with best cleaning practices for each type. Low-Pile Commercial Carpets:   Offices, retail stores, and many schools often use low-pile broadloom carpets or carpet tiles made of durable synthetic fibers like nylon or polypropylene. These carpets have short, dense fibers or loops, designed to withstand heavy foot traffic and resist stains . Low-pile commercial carpets are relatively easy to maintain: regular vacuuming (often daily in busy areas) will remove surface dirt, as standard vacuums can easily clean these flat fibers . It’s recommended to schedule periodic professional deep cleanings (e.g. steam cleaning or hot-water extraction) to pull out embedded grime and extend the carpet’s life . Businesses and schools often arrange for professional cleaning during low-traffic periods (such as school holidays or weekends) to keep carpets fresh and allergen-free without disrupting operations . Carpet Tiles (Modular Carpets):   Many corporate offices and educational institutions opt for modular carpet tiles. These are squares of low-pile carpet that can be installed in sections. Carpet tiles offer the advantage of easy replacement, if one tile is stained or worn, it can be swapped out without re-carpeting the whole room. Like broadloom, most carpet tiles are made of solution-dyed nylon with durable backing, so they are hard-wearing and stain-resistant for high-traffic use . Cleaning carpet tiles involves the same routine care as other low-pile carpets: frequent vacuuming and prompt spot-cleaning of spills. Periodic professional cleaning is important to remove soil that filters down between tiles and to ensure a uniform clean across all sections. Another benefit is that tiles can be lifted for separate cleaning or drying if needed, but generally a professional hot-water extraction across the whole carpeted area is effective and safe for this type of flooring. School Carpets and Educational Rugs:   In schools and daycare centers, carpets not only provide comfort and noise reduction but also face intense wear. Classroom carpets may include broadloom in hallways or libraries and area rugs or mats in play areas. These are usually low-pile and made of robust materials (nylon or olefin fiber) to handle heavy use and frequent cleaning. Some educational carpets have colorful patterns or even educational prints (letters, shapes) and are designed to hide stains and dirt. Safety and hygiene are top priorities, so daily vacuuming is key to remove crumbs, dust, and allergens where children play. Spills (paint, food, etc.) should be spot-cleaned immediately. Schools are encouraged to get professional carpet cleaning at least twice a year, for instance, during mid-year and end-of-year breaks – to sanitize carpets and deep-clean high-traffic areas . Professional cleaning not only removes deep dirt but also helps maintain a healthier learning environment by reducing allergens and odors trapped in the fibers, which is especially important if any winter moisture or dust has accumulated over the closed-up winter month s. High-Pile Residential Carpets:   Homes often feature plusher, high-pile carpets (such as Saxony, plush, or shag rugs) in bedrooms and living rooms. These carpets have taller, looser fibers that give a luxurious, soft feel. The trade-off for that cozy comfort is that high-pile carpets tend to trap more dust, pet hair, and allergens deep in the pile . They also show wear in high-traffic spots more readily. Cleaning high-pile carpets requires a bit more effort: vacuuming should be done slowly and often, using a vacuum with an adjustable height or a special upholstery attachment to really get into the thick fibers . Homeowners may find it harder to remove all debris with a regular vacuum alone, for example, fine dust and pollen can remain buried in a plush carpet. It’s wise to have high-pile carpets professionally cleaned once a year (spring is ideal) to extract the deep-down dirt and refresh the pile. Professionals use powerful extraction equipment that reaches the dirt lurking inches below the surface, which household machines might not reach . For shag rugs or any carpet with a very deep pile, avoid excessive moisture during DIY cleaning; instead, rely on expert carpet cleaners who know how to thoroughly clean and dry these luxurious carpets without damaging them. Wool and Specialty Rugs:   Some homes and offices have high-end carpets or area rugs made from natural fibers like wool (or even silk in rare cases), as well as oriental rugs or other specialty floor coverings. Wool carpets are prized for their softness and insulation, but they must be cleaned carefully to avoid shrinkage or color bleeding . Professional cleaning is strongly recommended for wool and other natural fiber carpets. Wool fibers can hold dirt without looking dirty, so regular vacuuming is essential to prevent soil build-up. When deeper cleaning is needed, experts will use wool-safe detergents and controlled methods (appropriate water temperature, gentle agitation) to protect the carpet’s texture and dyes . Homeowners should avoid using harsh chemicals or oversaturating a wool carpet, as it can distort fibers or cause dyes to run. Similarly, delicate oriental or Persian rugs, as well as antique or silk rugs, require specialized handling ,often cleaned by hand or in-plant by specialists. Imperial Specialist Cleaning and other professional services understand these differences and will tailor their methods to the carpet type, ensuring that every rug, whether synthetic or natural, is cleaned safely and effectively . Image : The Go-To Guy Creations Benefits of Cleaning Carpets Before Spring Scheduling a thorough carpet cleaning just before or at the start of spring offers several benefits for your home or workplace: Remove Winter Buildup:   Even without snowy winters, Potchefstroom’s cooler months mean more time spent indoors and windows kept closed. Over winter, carpets accumulate months’ worth of dirt, dust, and debris tracked in on shoes or blown in from heating vents . A spring cleaning eliminates this leftover grime, from dried mud in entryways to fine dust and dander hidden in the fibers, giving your carpets and floors a clean slate for the new season. Improve Indoor Air Quality:   Carpets trap a variety of allergens and pollutants – dust mites, pet dander, mold spores from any winter dampness, and more. As spring arrives, pollen from blooming trees and plants will start entering buildings too. If your carpet is already loaded with old dust and allergens, it can become a breeding ground for irritants just as allergy season hits. Professional carpet cleaning removes these embedded allergens, helping everyone breathe easier when spring pollen counts rise . A freshly cleaned carpet in spring means your indoor air will be cleaner and healthier, which is especially important for allergy sufferers. Prepare for Allergy Season:   Beyond general air quality, cleaning carpets in late winter or very early spring can directly reduce allergy triggers. Pollen that drifted inside last year or settled in the carpet over winter will be extracted, as will dust mite colonies that thrive in warmer, humid weather . By eliminating these triggers before spring is in full swing, you’re essentially allergy-proofing your carpets ahead of time. This is beneficial in schools and offices too – a cleaner carpet can lead to fewer sniffles and sick days when allergy season is at its peak. Faster Drying in Spring Weather:   Spring in Potchefstroom offers moderate temperatures and lower humidity than the summer months. These conditions are ideal for carpet cleaning because carpets will dry more quickly and thoroughly . Warm, breezy spring days allow you to open windows for ventilation, ensuring any moisture from cleaning evaporates faster. Quick drying not only gets your rooms back in use sooner but also prevents any potential issues like mold or mildew that can occur if carpets stay damp too long. By cleaning in spring, you take advantage of the season’s favorable drying climate. Refresh Appearance and Odor:   After the wear and tear of winter, a deep clean will revive your carpet’s color and texture. Stubborn winter stains (from spilled coffee, muddy shoes, etc.) can be treated and removed before they become permanen t. Musty odors that have built up in a closed house or a heated office over winter are eliminated, leaving the space smelling fresh. This “reset” makes your environment more pleasant and inviting for spring. It’s especially beneficial for businesses expecting more foot traffic in the springtime, clean carpets contribute to a positive impression on customers and visitors. Extend Carpet Lifespan:   Regular cleaning is not just about looks , it protects your investment. Dirt and grit that settle into carpet fibers act like abrasives, slowly wearing the fibers down as people walk on them . By removing that grit at the end of winter, you prevent excessive fiber wear that would otherwise shorten the carpet’s lifespan. Professional cleaning also rejuvenates matted fibers in high-traffic areas, helping them spring back and last longer. Many carpet manufacturers actually recommend annual professional cleaning (or even require it to maintain warranty coverage) because it significantly extends the life of the carpet . Doing this cleaning in spring aligns with those recommendations and ensures your carpet remains durable and beautiful year after year. Image : The Go-To Guy Creations Conclusion: A Springtime Refresh for Healthy, Beautiful Carpets Spring is a season of renewal, a time to clear out the old and welcome the new. By cleaning your carpets just before spring, you remove the dust and pollutants of the past season and make room for a fresher, healthier indoor environment. Imperial Specialist Cleaning in Potchefstroom is ready to assist homeowners, school administrators, and business managers in achieving this goal. With professional expertise and care, they will ensure your carpets are deep-cleaned and prepared to handle the rest of the year, from the increase in spring allergens to the heavy use of busy months ahead. In a nutshell, investing in a comprehensive carpet cleaning now will pay off with immediate improvements in appearance and air quality, and long-term benefits for your carpet’s durability. Your home or business will look its best for spring, and you’ll breathe easier (literally) knowing that hidden dust and germs have been washed away. As the flowers bloom and the Potchefstroom air warms up, you can enjoy the season in comfort, starting from the ground up with spotless, spring-ready carpets. Make this spring a fresh start for your floors – your lungs, your visitors, and your carpets will thank you!

  • Landbou Golf Club: Decades of Golf and Community in Potchefstroom

Landbou Golf Club’s picturesque course has been a beloved part of the Potchefstroom landscape since 1988. Image: The Go-To Guy Creations Humble Beginnings in 1988 Landbou Golf Club first opened its fairways in 1988 . The late 1980s saw a group of local golf enthusiasts (many from Potchefstroom’s farming and agricultural community) come together with a shared vision: to create a home-grown golf course that the whole town could enjoy. They carved out a modest nine-hole course on the outskirts of the city, turning former farmland into a new golfing haven. In those early days, facilities were simple and the atmosphere was informal. Members pitched in wherever they could, and the clubhouse was little more than a small gathering spot. Yet, what the club may have lacked in polish at first, it made up for in heart and enthusiasm. Neighbours, friends, and families would spend afternoons on the greens, forging friendships that would become the foundation of the club’s enduring community spirit. Growing with the Community Through the 1990s and beyond, Landbou Golf Club grew steadily, right alongside Potchefstroom itself. What began as a humble nine-hole layout blossomed into a cherished destination for golf enthusiasts and social gatherings over the next three decades . Early members recall how quickly the club became a fixture of local life, a place where anyone was welcome to swing a club or join in a social braai. As membership expanded, so did the club’s amenities and ambitions. A proper clubhouse was built and later enhanced, transforming the club into more than just a golf course. Regular club competitions became a staple of the calendar, and an atmosphere of friendly rivalry (and lots of laughter) took root. Key milestones in the club’s development included the introduction of annual tournaments and special events. By the 2000s, Landbou Golf Club was hosting events not just for its members but for the wider region. A highlight each year is the Landbou Open, a tournament that draws golfers from Potchefstroom and beyond . The club also invested in maintaining and improving the course itself – keeping the greens velvety and the fairways tidy, ensuring that even as the years passed, the quality of play remained high. Despite operating with just nine holes, Landbou offers a full 18-hole golfing experience  by creative design; players simply play the loop twice, a fact that never diminishes the challenge or enjoyment. In fact, the course’s scenic parkland layout is both beautifully tranquil and deceptively tricky, giving newcomers and seasoned players alike a reason to come back for “just one more round”. Throughout its growth, certain personalities became local legends, from long-time groundskeepers who treat the course like their own backyard, to club captains and loyal members who have been around since day one. Their stories, like the tales of marathon weekend games or the celebratory drinks after a golfer’s first birdie, have become part of Landbou’s living history. Each improvement and expansion over the years was driven by this tight-knit community’s input, making the development of the club a true team effort. Serving Potchefstroom: Golf and Gatherings Today Fast forward to today, and Landbou Golf Club stands as a cornerstone of the Potchefstroom community, seamlessly blending sport, leisure, and social life . Open to the public seven days a week, it ensures that anyone from a dedicated golfer to a casual visitor has a place to unwind on the green . The club’s enduring mission is to offer “something for everyone,” and a visit to Landbou quickly shows how well it succeeds. On any given day, you might find retirees enjoying a relaxed mid-morning round, office workers squeezing in nine holes after work, and young juniors practicing their swings, often side by side. This inclusive atmosphere has made Landbou a well-loved part of local life , where generations mingle and new players are always welcomed with a smile. But it’s not only about golf, it’s about community. Landbou has evolved into a true social hub for Potchefstroom. Members and guests often linger long after sinking their last putts, drawn in by the club’s warm and convivial vibe. The clubhouse has become the heart of the action. What started as a simple structure is now a vibrant gathering place that pulses with laughter and conversation. It features a fully stocked bar where stories of the day’s best (and worst) shots are shared over cold drinks . In one corner, you’ll often see friends challenging each other to darts on the clubhouse dartboards, adding a dash of fun competition away from the putting greens . The ambiance is intentionally relaxed and family-friendly, think of it as Potchefstroom’s living room for golfers. Landbou’s community focus also shines through in the events it hosts. The club organizes regular tournaments, league games, and themed golf days that bring people together. From casual Sunday scrambles to charity golf days, these events foster camaraderie and a bit of friendly competition, all in good spirit. Juniors are not left out either; the club proudly supports youth golf, even hosting junior opens and clinics to nurture the next generation of golfers. Local schools and university students often partake in golf clinics or casual rounds here, underscoring the club’s role as a gateway for newcomers to the sport. Modern Amenities and a Bright Future One reason Landbou Golf Club continues to thrive after all these years is its ability to blend rustic charm with modern amenities . While the setting is unpretentious and rooted in the beauty of the North West province landscape, the club offers all the conveniences a modern golfer or visitor could want. Here are some of the standout features and recent updates that make Landbou a pleasure to visit today: Well-Maintained 9-Hole Course:  The course is kept in excellent condition, with lush fairways and true greens. Don’t let the 9-hole format fool you – it offers a full 18-hole round of golf when played twice, delivering both a scenic and challenging parkland experience for players of all skill levels. Regular upkeep and care over the years mean the course looks better than ever. Welcoming Clubhouse:  Landbou’s clubhouse has been continually upgraded to serve as a comfortable retreat. It boasts a friendly bar and lounge area where members and visitors wind down after games . The recent addition of indoor games like darts adds to the fun, giving people something to do even on rainy days or after sunset. On-Site Restaurant:  The club’s restaurant is a beloved feature, dishing up everything from hearty breakfasts to delicious dinners. This amenity has evolved to become a highlight of the club, golfers and non-golfers alike come by for a bite. Whether it’s a quick coffee before tee-off or a relaxed meal with family, the menu has something for everyone. Signature South African braai (barbecue) facilities are also available, allowing members to grill up a feast and enjoy a true local tradition on club grounds . The aroma of braaied meat and the sound of cheerful chatter around the fire pit have become synonymous with late afternoons at Landbou. Event Hosting Facilities:  A significant development in recent years is Landbou’s emergence as an event venue. The club recognised that its beautiful grounds and spacious clubhouse could serve the community in more ways than one. Today, it’s not uncommon to find the venue booked for birthday celebrations, year-end office parties, or even intimate weddings. The clubhouse and outdoor areas offer a picturesque setting for functions, and the staff has experience helping plan and host events of all kinds . This versatility has made Landbou a go-to spot not just for sports, but for making memories – be it a corporate golf day or a 50th anniversary party. Community Outreach and Updates:  Landbou Golf Club keeps pace with the times. It maintains an active presence in local media and on social platforms (often through partnerships with community initiatives like The Go-To Guy). Booking a tee time or event is easier than ever, one can simply call or even send a WhatsApp message to the club . Moreover, the club frequently updates its offerings based on member feedback. For example, when members expressed interest in more social activities, the club introduced those regular braai nights and darts competitions, adding to the sense of camaraderie. Far from resting on its laurels, Landbou is always looking for the next way to serve its community better. As of 2025, Landbou Golf Club is as vibrant as it’s ever been. It enjoys the patronage of long-time members who have been swinging there for decades, as well as newcomers discovering its charms for the first time. The club’s leadership and staff, many of whom are Potchefstroom locals themselves, continue to invest time and care into maintaining this “hidden gem”  for the city. A Legacy of Local Hospitality Standing on the Landbou Golf Club’s grounds today, one can almost feel the history underfoot. There’s a certain charm in knowing that this piece of land has seen countless weekend games, celebratory toasts, and family outings since 1988. In a world where many sports clubs come and go, Landbou’s longevity is a testament to its strong community foundation and adaptability . The club’s story, from its founding by passionate locals, through decades of growth, to its current status as a multifaceted community venue – reflects the story of Potchefstroom itself: proud of its heritage, yet always evolving with the times. Ask any regular, and they’ll tell you that Landbou Golf Club is more than just a place to play golf, it’s a second home. It’s where friendships are forged and memories are made over shared passions . Some remember teaching their children to swing a club here; others recall community fundraisers or festive braais that brought the whole town together on these grounds. For the Potchefstroom community, Landbou Golf Club isn’t just a golf course – it’s part of the cultural fabric of the town. As the club moves forward, it does so with an eye on maintaining that warm, inviting atmosphere that has defined it for so long. Whether you’re a scratch golfer aiming for an under-par round, a beginner picking up clubs for the first time, or someone simply looking for a friendly place to relax on a Saturday afternoon, Landbou Golf Club continues to welcome you with open arms. After all, it has spent nearly four decades proving that when local spirit and a love of the game come together, something truly special can take root, and in Potchefstroom, that something is the enduring haven that is Landbou Golf Club. #LandbouGolfClub #GolfLife #GolfSouthAfrica #GolfClub #TeeTime #GolfCommunity #PlayGolf #GolfLovers

  • Monique West Live by The Greenhouse Garden Café - 16 Augustus

  • Silent Book Club to Host Author Alecia Blackberry

The Silent Book Club in Potchefstroom will soon be hosting Alecia Blackberry, author of The FBQ: Firefly: Book 1. Members and curious visitors alike can look forward to a short reading from the book, followed by the chance to chat with the author and grab a pamphlet for a bit more insight. About the Book The FBQ: Firefly: Book 1, released on 15 May 2025, follows four high school friends once considered “eccentric” by their peers. Years later, they’ve each achieved a reasonable degree of success, the kind that looks good on paper but still leaves room for old secrets, shared history and perhaps a little unresolved mischief. The Reading Blackberry will be sharing a three-minute extract from her novel. The brevity should suit even those who prefer their literary experiences in bite-sized form, and it might just leave a few people scribbling the title down for later. When and Where The event is happening on 16 August 2025 at 13:00, hosted at Cuppa Caffe. The Silent Book Club promises its usual mix of quiet reading, gentle conversation, and the occasional raised eyebrow over a plot twist. Alecia Blackberry, who has managed to balance creativity and storytelling with a sharp eye for character quirks, will be the club’s special guest for the day. The format is informal, so expect a relaxed afternoon rather than a formal lecture, just the way Silent Book Club regulars like it.

  • The Go-To Guy – Week 32 Diary

It’s been another jam-packed week here at The Go-To Guy, filled with inspiring school stories, sports connections, community growth, and even a sneak peek at upcoming events you’ll want to mark on your calendar. Grab your coffee (or maybe something stronger if it’s been that  kind of week), and let’s rewind the clock to see what made Week 32 so special. Image : The Go-To Guy Creations SkoolKompas: 4 August – Kultuur by Ferdies We started the week on a creative high note with our SkoolKompas  feature at Ferdies. If you’ve ever wondered what makes a school’s culture truly come alive, Ferdies is a shining example. We sat down with three of their culture champions: Carin Roux , Head of Culture Kwame Matlawe , Head of Pulse and Culture Executive Miné Bronkhorst , active in English debate, ATKV Afrikaans drama, the English play, and more. The conversation was nothing short of inspiring. From debating to drama, from Afrikaans theatre to English productions, Ferdies is nurturing a generation of students who aren’t just performing, they’re living  culture. Their approach blends tradition with fresh, modern energy, making sure every learner has the space to explore their passions. It’s safe to say that if the stage is where you shine, Ferdies is where your spotlight will always find you. SportStroom: 6 August – REPS Sport Next up, our SportStroom spotlight shone on REPS Sport , a brand that’s all about tailoring top-quality sports equipment to meet schools’ unique needs. From balls and soft equipment to branded sportswear, they’re redefining how schools think about sports resources. But REPS Sport isn’t just selling products. They’re building bridges, connecting sponsors with schools in innovative ways that boost involvement and visibility. It’s part of their “Partners in Play”  initiative, which is exactly what it sounds like: a partnership that’s all about uplifting sport at school level. Durable. Reliable. Affordable. REPS Sport is proving that quality sports equipment doesn’t have to break the bank, and schools that hop on board are seeing the difference. Image : Facebook The Go-To Guy StroomStories: 7 August – Veri-Fest If you love live music, food, and a vibe that just won’t quit, you’re going to love what’s coming. On this episode of StroomStories, we sat down with two key members of the Veri-Fest team to get the inside scoop on their big event happening on 24 September 2025. Picture this: a massive braai, incredible live performances, and a festive atmosphere that’ll have you dancing long after the last chord has been struck. Veri-Fest promises to be more than just another event, it’s shaping up to be the  heritage celebration of the year. The team’s excitement was contagious, and we left the studio already craving smoky braai flavours and the sound of guitars under the Potch night sky. Mark the date. You’ve been warned. Ikageng: 8 August – Sarafina Secondary School   Friday brought us a story of perseverance and hope from Sarafina Secondary School in Ikageng. Their journey began in borrowed classrooms at Ditaelong Primary, but now they’ve taken a massive step forward, teaching their own Grades 8–10 on-site, even as construction of their permanent facilities continues. It’s more than just bricks and mortar; it’s about building futures. Each wall that goes up is another step toward giving learners a space they can call their own. And when you see the determination in both staff and students, you can’t help but feel optimistic about the road ahead. Our Eyes in the Field: 5 August – Build It   Midweek, we took a trip into the world of hardware and home improvement with a Build It  feature. This time, we explored their incredible variety of tiles  in a new video. Whether you’re going for sleek modern designs or something rustic with character, Build It has a range that can bring any home vision to life. It wasn’t just about tiles, though, it’s about helping the community make their houses feel like home . And judging by what we saw, they’re nailing it one tile at a time. 8 August – PnP Trolley Dash We wrapped up the week with something a little more fast-paced and a lot more fun, the PnP Trolley Dash! If you’ve never seen one of these in action, imagine a supermarket sweep where the only rule is: grab as much as you can before the clock runs out. The excitement was through the roof, the aisles were a blur, and the smiles at the end were priceless. It’s events like this that remind us that sometimes, community connection can be found in the most unexpected (and entertaining) places. Image : Facebook The Go-To Guy A Big Milestone for The Go-To Guy! We reached the incredible milestone of 80,000 Facebook followers , and of course, we had to celebrate in style! The team gathered for a quick office lunch braai, because is there really a better way to kick off the week than with great food and even better company? We’re over the moon to see how the page is growing every single day, and it’s all thanks to you , every like, share, and comment means the world to us. Looking Back at Week 32 From cultural showcases at Ferdies to the sports partnerships shaping the next generation, from the promise of an unforgettable festival to stories of schools literally building their dreams, Week 32 was a reminder of what makes Potchefstroom so special. It’s the people. It’s the passion. It’s the way we come together to share, support, and celebrate. And that’s exactly what we’ll keep doing - week after week.
