Altesaam nege van die skool se top-atlete het die blou-en-wit kleure met groot onderskeiding verteenwoordig. Hulle het elke item met ware spangees aangepak en gewys dat die vroeë oggendure in die swembad die moeite werd was. Potchefstroom Gimnasium (Gimmies) se krieketspanne het die afgelope naweek kragte gemeet teen Midstream College in ’n reeks kompeterende wedstryde wat gesorg het vir groot opwinding op die veld. Die hoogtepunt van die dag was ongetwyfeld die o.15A-span wat die Finsbury Superliga B-afdeling gewen het. Gimmies het eerste gekolf en ’n stewige totaal van 225/10 in hul 50 beurte aangeteken, grootliks danksy ’n skitterende 69 lopies deur Casey Lues en ’n bydrae van 25 deur Juvan Botes. Met die bal in die hand was Gimmies onstuitbaar. Hulle het Midstream vir slegs 118 lopies uitgeknikker. Juvan Botes het sy goeie dag voortgesit deur 3 paaltjies in te palm, terwyl Marno Hattingh 2 paaltjies platgetrek het. Gimmies wen die wedstryd met ’n massiewe 107 lopies. The North West Dragons left everything on the field yesterday in a high-intensity clash at JB Marks Oval. While the final result didn't go their way, the Dragons proved why they are regarded as one of the most resilient teams in the league. He anchored the innings with great responsibility, smashing a superb 58 off just 45 balls. His ability to find the boundaries and dictate the strike rotation kept the Dragons in the hunt throughout the chase. The team ultimately finished their 20 overs on 128/5. Despite a courageous effort and plenty of "heart" shown in the closing overs, the target remained just out of reach, with the Dragons falling short by 35 runs.
