The City of Matlosana Local Municipality has called on residents to unite in a renewed effort to keep neighbourhoods clean, green, and vibrant. As part of its ongoing citywide clean-up programme, the municipality launched another phase of the initiative on Friday, 14 November 2025 , marked by the planting of 15 new trees  in Irene Park.
