A day of quick-fire challenges and carnival entertainment is scheduled for later this month, aimed at raising funds for a local youth camp. The SWAG (Saved With Amazing Grace) Minute to Win It Competition will take place at 50 Rivier Street, Potchefstroom, offering activities for all ages.
What to Expect on the Day
The event kicks off at 09:00 on Saturday, 30 May 2026. Organisers have planned a variety of games alongside a carnival atmosphere that is open to the general public. Attendees can also look forward to a dedicated food court and various stalls.
Prizes will be awarded across three distinct categories:
Best Score: For the top-performing competitors in the timed games.
Best Dressed: For teams that show up in the most creative gear.
Best War Cry: For the group with the most enthusiastic team spirit.
Entry Fees and Stall Bookings
The competition is structured around team entries, with a registration fee of R70 per team to participate in the games.
For local vendors looking to sell their goods, stall spaces are available for hire at R180 for the day. All proceeds generated from team entries and stall rentals will go directly towards funding the upcoming youth camp.
