Last week our tiniest trailblazers swapped the classroom for campus life when they visited North West University in Potchefstroom. From the moment the bus doors swung open, wide-eyed curiosity set the tone for a day packed with possibility. 🚍✨

A First Taste of Campus Life 🏫
Guided by friendly NWU staff, the children walked through lecture venues, libraries and sports facilities. Each stop came with simple explanations about studying, teamwork and following one’s dreams. The little ones asked questions non-stop and even tried out the giant lecture seats, feet barely touching the floor yet imaginations already soaring.
Science Centre Sparks Big Ideas 🔬🧲
The highlight arrived when the group stepped into the NWU Science Centre. Here learning jumped off the page. Magnets raced across tables, bubbles burst into colourful clouds and light beams danced through prisms. The young scientists rolled up sleeves, pressed buttons and shouted “Wow” more times than we could count. Their laughter filled the halls while teachers snapped photos to share with families. 📸

Planting Seeds for the Future 🌱📚
Before heading home, the learners thanked their hosts with a resounding “Thank you.” NWU staff reminded them that university doors stay open for every child who works hard and stays curious. As the bus pulled away, chatter about becoming engineers, doctors and inventors floated through the air.
NWU, we salute you for welcoming our community and showing that big dreams can start small. To our Grade R explorers, keep asking questions and chasing that spark, the next great discovery might just be yours. 💡
