- Swemhanddoek-Insameling: ’n Warm Hart vir ’n Warm Somer in Potchefstroom
Wie is Abraham Kriel Kinderhuis? Vir navrae kan inwoners Izandri du Preez by 079 527 2225 kontak of die kinderhuis se kantoor direk by 018 294 5347.
Belangstellendes kan FPB Services kontak by 063 141 3730 of 062 178 5950 , of Caro by Abraham Kriel Kinderhuis self by 084 605 5374 .

Die venue self is geleë by Rio Boulevard, Freemanville, Klerksdorp. JP Dix se “Strings of Survival” is meer as net ’n gig by die Rio.

Using a dual-team system, crews worked from Chubby Chick to Quattro Filling Station and the Stop Sign intersection in the morning, before tackling the opposite side near the SGS Indian Center in the afternoon. Additional pothole stabilisation was carried out around Triomf corner. Part 1 of the project (Senwes Corner → Bathoeng Stop Sign) is almost complete, with only eight potholes remaining. Part 2 (Stop Sign → Bloemetjie Street) is scheduled to begin once Part 1 is finalized. Supervisors Gift Lebele and Isaka Masilo oversaw the work, emphasizing that precision preparation and sealing techniques are being used to ensure durability for both residents and businesses relying on the corridor. Sewer and Sanitation: Clearing Blockages and Building Infrastructure Sanitation teams, led by Ntate Motsamai , cleared seven critical blockages across Mgwe Street, Mphebatho Street, Thusanang Street, and key intersections including Raditsabeng & Dingaan and Pilane & Bathoeng. These interventions prevented potential sewage spillovers that could have impacted both health and the environment. Meanwhile, the Mosidi Street sewer project advanced into Phase 3 , with 250 meters of pipeline installed following the excavation of a 30-meter trench. Project Lead Ntate Fanie Zoko confirmed that benching and sewer rings were placed to ensure long-term flow stability, describing the progress as “the backbone of Mosidi Street’s future sewer system.” Image: JB Marks Yellow Fleet Contributions The Yellow Fleet unit , under Ntate Isaac Gula , delivered results in both urban and rural areas. In Boikhutso Village (Ventersdorp region) , roads were graded to improve accessibility. On Mosidi Street, the fleet supported the trenching and bedding work required for the new sewer line, reinforcing the municipality’s strategy of multi-location service delivery. Water Services: Wide-Scale Interventions Water services teams focused on system optimization across the municipality, addressing 15 separate interventions in a single day. Key actions included: Clearing air locks at the Steve Tswete Clinic hydrant, Ramekwa area, and Portjie Dam. Repairing contractor damage to the Sonder Water pipeline. Diagnosing and fixing low pressure and leaks across Extension 11. Managing pressure at the Sonder Water Reservoir for the Mountain View Project. Additional upgrades were recorded under Supervisor Ntate Sebatana , including new meter and gate valve installations in Usave, Boithutso Street, and Big Street Sarafina, alongside multiple leak repairs. Waste Management: Record Maintained Waste collection services again reported 100% completion for households, businesses, and hotspots. Supervisors Felicity Jansen and Sipho Nxamakele highlighted their teams’ consistent delivery, reinforcing public trust in the municipality’s environmental health measures.
