  • Game Viewing in Potchefstroom

Potchefstroom is better known for its university and history than safaris, yet the surrounding North West bushveld offers surprising wildlife experiences. Within a short drive of town you’ll find private game reserves and nature parks where visitors can spot antelope, zebra, giraffe, lions and hundreds of bird species. The region’s terrain (rivers, dams and grasslands) creates varied habitats for game viewing by car, foot or even horseback. This guide covers the top local safari and birding spots in and around Potchefstroom, helping residents and tourists discover activities off the beaten path. Image: The Go-To Guy Creations Lekwena Wildlife Estate (11 km from Potchefstroom) Lekwena Wildlife Estate is a 3,000+ hectare private game reserve just 11 km from town. It hosts over 2,000 animals, including dozens of antelope species (kudu, eland, springbok, kudu and more) and 160+ bird species . Well-maintained gravel roads (about 37 km worth) and 15 stocked dams make Lekwena ideal for self-drive safaris or guided tours . Visitors often see giraffe, zebra, kudu, nyala and even rhino roaming freely across the open bushveld. The reserve also features picnic spots and bird hides. In short, Lekwena offers a true safari feel just outside Potchefstroom, with abundant wildlife on display along its game-viewing routes . Wildlife:  ~20 antelope species, plus zebra, giraffe, and many bird species . Activities:  Self-drive game routes (37 km), guided game drives, bird hides and picnic areas . Note:  A favorite local spot for sunrise/afternoon drives; bring binoculars and camera for the herds of zebra and giraffe that often come near the roads. Boskop Dam Nature Reserve (20 km north of Potchefstroom) Boskop Dam Nature Reserve spans about 3,000 hectares of rolling grassland along the Mooi River, only 20 km from town. It is well known for its prolific wildlife and recreation . On the dam’s shores and nearby trails, visitors can see black wildebeest, springbok, zebra, red hartebeest, eland and blesbok grazing (the Boskop plains hold all these species). A flock of ostrich and herds of giraffe are also often spotted. Over 250 bird species inhabit Boskop (from ducks and herons to fish eagles), making it a birdwatcher’s paradise. Hiking and mountain biking trails weave through the reserve, while the dam itself offers canoeing and fishing. In short, Boskop combines classic African savannah views with a large diversity of wildlife. Wildlife:  Herds of zebra, wildebeest, kudu, eland, giraffe and more . Over 250 bird species (fish eagle, heron, flamingos in season). Activities:  Hiking/biking trails, canoeing on the dam, picnic sites, and game drives on dirt roads . Unique flora:  Home to rare plants like the stone-like succulent Lithops  and the bright orange Crinum  lilies along the river . Kohra Lion Farm For a very different safari, Kohra Lion Park, only 15 km west of Potchefstroom, lets visitors see lions up close. This small private sanctuary is home to adult lions and cubs, and it offers guided visits where guests can feed or even play with tame lion cubs under supervision . The park emphasizes animal welfare and provides engaging lion encounters, one review notes you can “witness the lions up close” and even see “lionesses exhibiting remarkable agility” during feeding . Admission is very affordable (around R100 per person) and makes Khora a popular outing for families. Nearby private game farms also offer bush experiences. For example, Lekkerkry Game Farm (about 40 km away near Fochville) provides self-catering lodging in bushveld where tame wildlife graze past the villa . Guests at Lekkerkry often see antelope and zebra right outside their door. Khora Lion Farm:  Up-close lion encounters (including cubs) for R100 ; ideal for kids and big-cat fans. Game Farms (e.g. Lekkerkry):  Self-drive or guided bush safaris on working game farms. Lekkerkry, 40 km from Potch, hosts free-roaming antelope and zebra around its accommodation . Whether you’re a local or visitor, these nearby game-viewing spots make Potchefstroom surprisingly wild. Most reserves are best visited early or late to catch animals when they’re most active. Always carry water, sun protection and a camera/binoculars. A 4×4 vehicle is not essential on maintained roads, but a sedan can handle most sites (weather permitting). These local parks and reserves aren’t as famous as Kruger, but they offer fresh, accessible experiences right in the heart of the North West. They help raise awareness of regional biodiversity and give Potchefstroom both locals and visitors a chance to connect with South Africa’s wildlife. #Wildlife #Gamefarms #Gameviewing #Thegotoguy #Potchefstroom

  • Drink Spiking Awareness in Potchefstroom

Drink spiking, the surreptitious lacing of a beverage with drugs or extra alcohol, is a real threat in nightlife settings, and Potchefstroom is no exception. This university town boasts a vibrant social scene, especially around the popular Bult area filled with student-frequented bars and clubs. Image: The Go-To Guy Creations While nights out are meant to be fun, it’s important to stay vigilant. Reports from local community safety groups have warned that drink spiking is a reality in Potchefstroom , particularly affecting students and bar patrons. In fact, incidents have been reported anecdotally at nightlife venues in town (even if underreported), underscoring the need for awareness and precaution. Drink Spiking in Potchefstroom: Incidents and Context Drink spiking often goes underreported, so exact local statistics are hard to come by. There are no official figures specific to South Africa or Potchefstroom  for this crime, but experts believe it is more widespread than we realize . In South Africa, victims have ranged from teenagers to the elderly, and spiking occurs at house parties, festivals, pubs, and clubs alike . University towns like Potchefstroom, with a large student population, are not immune. Women are commonly targeted , but men can be victims too (international research suggests up to 15% of women and 7% of men have experienced drink spiking) theguardian.com . Potchefstroom’s bustling student nightlife provides opportunity for would-be offenders amid crowded bars and social gatherings. Local nightlife staff do try to keep patrons safe, for example, many bars on the Bult enforce strict rules and monitor intoxicated individuals to prevent harm threestreamsmedia.com . However, staying safe ultimately comes down to individual vigilance . If something feels off, a friend suddenly seems far more intoxicated than they should be, or you notice an unknown person hovering around someone’s drink, trust your instincts. Being aware of the threat is the first step to preventing it. Remember:  If you think your drink has been spiked or you observe someone possibly drugging a drink, treat it as an emergency. Immediately alert bar staff, bouncers, or call security/police . Time is critical both for evidence (such as testing for drugs) and for the person’s safety, so swift action could save a life or lead to an arrest. Image: The Go-To Guy Creations Best Practices to Avoid Drink Spiking The best defense against drink spiking is staying alert and following smart safety practices  whenever you socialize. Here are some proven tips to help prevent becoming a victim of drink spiking: Never leave your drink unattended.  If you step away even for a moment (to dance or use the bathroom), take your drink with you  or have a trusted friend watch it. An unattended drink is an easy target for someone to drop something into. Avoid sharing drinks or swapping glasses.  It might seem friendly to taste a friend’s cocktail or let someone have a sip of yours, but it increases the risk of mix-ups. You should always maintain control over what you’re drinking. Stick to your own drink so you know nothing has been added. Don’t accept drinks from strangers.  Politely decline offers of drinks from people you don’t know well. Sadly, not everyone has good intentions, a free drink isn’t worth the risk. If you do  choose to accept a drink from someone you just met, go to the bar with them  and watch the bartender pour it, then carry it yourself. This ensures no one can slip anything in on the way. Only drink what you saw being poured.  Whether it’s a beer, a cocktail, or even a soft drink, make sure you witness it being prepared  or open it yourself. If a friend hands you a drink, double-check that they watched it poured or opened. If you didn’t see your drink poured (for instance, you return to your table and find a fresh drink waiting that you didn’t see made), do not drink it . It’s better to be safe and get a new drink instead. Watch out for your friends (and vice versa).  Go out in groups when possible, there’s safety in numbers. Keep an eye on each other’s drinks and behavior. If a friend appears far more intoxicated than the amount they’ve consumed, or starts feeling dizzy or ill suddenly, speak up and help them . Stay with them and notify venue security or medical help. By the same token, if you see someone (even a stranger) in trouble or notice suspicious behavior, such as someone hovering around an unattended drink, alert the staff  or intervene if it’s safe to do so. We all have to look out for one another. In addition to the above tips, trust your instincts. If something tastes or smells “off,” stop drinking it . Many spiking drugs are odorless and tasteless, but any odd flavor or unexpected fizziness could be a warning sign. And be cautious if someone is encouraging you to chug a drink or is overly insistent on buying you one, it could be a red flag. Whenever possible, drink from a bottle or can you open yourself, or consider using drink-protective devices (like cup covers or test strips) if they are available, especially at big parties or festivals. Stay Safe and Alert Ultimately, the key message is to be proactive about your own safety . Enjoy Potchefstroom’s nightlife, but do so with a sense of awareness. Keep your personal drink safety habits non-negotiable and encourage your friends to do the same. By following these precautions, taking the first critical steps to prevent an incident or to act quickly if something goes wrong. Most importantly, if you suspect drink spiking, whether it’s happening to you or someone else, don’t hesitate  to seek help. Quick action can prevent a potential assault or medical emergency. Staying informed and alert is empowering. Be safe… be your own first responder.  In the fight against drink spiking, prevention and prompt response  are our strongest tools. By watching out for ourselves and each other, we help keep our campus and community safe. If you ever feel unsafe or unsure, reach out to the contacts above, help is always available. Your vigilance and courage to act can make all the difference. #TheGoToGuy #potchefstroom #potchgazette #stroomstories #safetyandsecurity

Grief is an unpredictable beast, and when the loss is through suicide, it brings with it an extra helping of confusion, guilt, and overwhelming sadness. Let's be honest, no one really wants to sit alone with those feelings. That’s why the Grief and Suicide Bereavement Support Group is here to offer a space to unpack it all. Every second Wednesday, from 17:30 to 18:30, a small group gathers at 5 Esselen Street (Pregnancy Care Centre). It’s a spot where tears are welcome, and no one minds if your mascara runs a bit. The group is a free community support group for adults (sorry, over 18s only, no minors, no exceptions). The idea is to give anyone who’s lost someone to suicide a place to talk, listen, and find that fragile thread of hope that can get lost in the shuffle. Grief doesn’t come with a “how to” manual. It’s messy, it’s complicated, and it’s different for everyone. But the good news? It’s also a natural part of healing. Feeling your feelings is the first step to adapting to a new reality, one that no one asks for, but has to be faced. If you’re ready to chat, cry, or just sit quietly and listen, join the group. Contact Mercia on 082-961-3152 if you’ve got any questions or need directions (and yes, the phone’s actually working). So, if you’re keen to join a community that understands what you’re going through, there’s no need to RSVP. Just rock up and let yourself feel. It’s tough, but no one has to go it alone.

  • The Hidden Complexity of Electrical Installations

🔌👌🔌👌🔌👌🔌👌🔌👌🔌👌 Every time we flick on a light or plug in an appliance, it feels instant and simple. The lights come on, the kettle heats up, end of story. But behind that effortless flick of a switch lies a hidden world of complexity. From the kilometres of cabling snaking behind our walls to the carefully planned circuits and safety mechanisms, electrical installations are far more intricate than most of us realise. This article pulls back the curtain on what’s really going on in our homes and businesses, revealing why qualified electricians are worth their weight in gold. Image: The Go-To Guy More Than Just “Plug and Play” It’s easy to take electricity for granted. Flip a switch and voila!, light. However, an enormous amount of skilled work happens behind the scenes to make that moment possible. In a new home, for example, electricians must plan the entire electrical layout before a single wire is installed. This involves plotting out where every outlet, light fixture, and appliance will go, ensuring they’re on the correct circuits and meet safety regulations . They consider the homeowner’s current needs and future needs, calculating how much load each circuit will carry and where to place breakers or fuses so nothing is overloaded. This planning isn’t just for fun, it’s essential to meet strict building codes and to prevent hazards. Electricians pull permits and coordinate inspections at various stages to verify everything is up to standard . Once the planning is done, the actual wiring begins: running cables through walls and ceilings, avoiding other infrastructure like plumbing or aircon ducts, and making hundreds of precise connections. Each connection must be secure and every wire correctly colour-coded and insulated. By the time you’re moving into your new house, there could be dozens of circuits and hundreds of metres of wiring hidden neatly out of sight. It’s truly not a simple DIY job, it’s a craft honed through training and experience. The Hidden Maze in Older Homes What about houses that are 20, 30, or even 50 years old? Many South Africans live in older homes with electrical systems from a different era. Back in the day, for instance, it wasn’t uncommon to use the metal conduit piping as the earth (ground) instead of a dedicated earth wire, and Earth Leakage (RCD) protection only became standard around the late 1970s. These older setups weren’t built for the demands of modern life. Think about it: decades ago there were no big-screen TVs, powerful microwaves, or multiple computers and chargers in every room. As a result, older homes often have too few circuits or plug points, leading people to rely on extension cords and multiplugs that overburden the system. Outdated wiring insulation can become brittle, and connections may loosen over time, all of which increase the risk of faults. Experts actually recommend that electrical wiring be inspected and upgraded roughly every 20 years . This is because wiring technology and safety standards evolve, and regular wear-and-tear (plus the added strain of modern appliances) can deteriorate old wires . An old distribution board (“DB board”) might lack modern circuit breakers or proper earth leakage protection, which are vital safeguards today. If your lights often flicker or your breakers trip frequently, these can be warning signs of underlying wiring issues . In fact, many electrical faults stay hidden until something goes wrong – a light that continually trips could indicate degraded insulation, and a slightly warm wall plug could be a red flag for an overloaded connection. Importantly, South Africa’s ongoing load shedding saga adds another layer of stress. The on-again, off-again power  causes surges and voltage fluctuations that can heat and cool your wiring repeatedly , weakening components over time . This “invisible” wear (sometimes called electronic rust ) accumulates and can eventually lead to failures if not mitigated . A qualified electrician can advise on surge protection and other measures to guard your installation. With load shedding being so frequent, faults in older or fragile wiring tend to get aggravated and become more evident 😖. It’s tempting in those moments to attempt a quick DIY fix, but as we’ll discuss, that path is fraught with danger . The DIY Dilemma: Why Electrical Work Isn’t a Hobby We South Africans are a resourceful bunch. It’s not uncommon to hear “don’t worry, I’ll sort that plug out myself” when a minor electrical issue pops up. Saving a few rand by not calling an electrician can be appealing, but electrical work is one arena where DIY can go horribly wrong. Even seemingly small tasks carry serious risks if you don’t have proper training. For starters, electrical systems are far more complex than they appear, and many DIY enthusiasts underestimate that complexity . Connecting the wrong wires or bypassing a faulty breaker isn’t just a harmless tinkering; it can lead to improper wiring and fire hazards . Common DIY mistakes include overloading circuits (because laypersons might not realise how much load a circuit can handle) and creating unsafe wiring situations like loose connections or exposed wires . These issues can lurk out of sight and then spark a fire behind your walls or give someone a nasty shock when they least expect it. Beyond the immediate safety risks, there are legal and financial consequences to consider. In South Africa, any fixed electrical installation work is supposed to be inspected and signed off with a Certificate of Compliance (CoC) by a registered electrician. Using an unregistered “pirate” electrician, or doing the work yourself without the proper sign-off, isn’t just bending the rules, it’s outright illegal . If something goes wrong, insurance companies can (and often will) refuse to pay out claims for fire or damage if the electrical installation wasn’t certified correctly . Imagine losing your home to an electrical fire and then finding out your insurance is void because of that “little DIY job” that wasn’t up to code, it’s just not worth it. According to the Electrical Conformance Board, a CoC is not mere paperwork for a home sale; it’s a critical safety document meant to protect your family and property . Skipping on it or using shortcuts could put lives at risk and leave you liable for damages. Unfortunately, many people have an “it won’t happen to me” attitude when it comes to electrical safety . It’s easy to be complacent, until an accident happens. Electrical incidents are more common than you might think. South Africa sees roughly 3,800 electrical fires every year , and poor installation or shoddy repairs are often to blame . Those statistics aren’t meant to scare you, but to highlight a simple truth: electricity demands respect. A licensed electrician doesn’t just “connect wires” – they ensure every connection is safe, secure, and compliant with regulations to keep your home or business out of those grim statistics. Why Qualified Electricians Are Worth Every Cent Considering the hidden challenges above, it becomes clear why hiring a qualified electrician is so important. Professional electricians undergo years of training and practical apprenticeship to understand the science of electricity and the art of safe installations. They are well-versed in the South African National Standards (like the SANS 10142 wiring code) and keep up with changing regulations and new technologies. In short, they know how to do the job right. When you bring in a qualified sparkie (as we often affectionately call them), you’re paying for peace of mind. They will issue a genuine Certificate of Compliance, meaning your installation has been tested and meets the required safety standards, a big relief for any homeowner, and a must-have document if you ever sell the property. More over, a pro can spot issues that an untrained eye would miss. Perhaps your DB board needs additional capacity for that new air-conditioner, or maybe the wiring in your outbuildings has deteriorated. A trained electrician can diagnose these and recommend solutions before they turn into bigger problems. Another often overlooked benefit is efficiency and future-proofing. A professional will not only fix or install something correctly, but can also advise you on smarter ways to set up your electrical system. For example, during a renovation they might suggest separating your lighting and plug circuits, or adding surge protectors and UPS units to critical devices to handle load-shedding surges. These are things a casual DIYer might not even consider. Hiring an expert can actually save you money in the long run because you avoid the costly mistakes and re-dos that often come with DIY electrical attempts . And let’s be honest, not many of us have the proper tools to crimp a heavy gauge cable or test an earth leakage breaker under load. Electricians come equipped with specialised tools and knowledge to get it done right the first time. Shocking as it Is – Safety Comes First 😉 Electricity has a way of humbling even the handiest homeowner. It doesn’t take much – one loose connection, one exposed wire, to turn a routine task into a dangerous situation. The hidden complexity of electrical installations means that what looks simple can hide layers of technical detail and potential peril. So the next time you walk into a room and the lights gleam on, take a moment to appreciate the unseen craftsmanship that makes that little miracle happen. From the careful routing of cables to the calibrated breakers preventing overloads, a lot of quiet effort keeps your everyday life humming. As South Africans, we’re dealing with enough shocks from load shedding 😅, we don’t need literal electrical shocks on top of it. Whether you’re wiring a new home, upgrading an old DB board, or just replacing a faulty outlet, do it the right way. That means calling a qualified electrician who knows the ropes (and the wires). Need an Electrician? why not contact Orka Solar? Image: Orka Solar It might cost a bit more upfront than a DIY quick fix, but it’s an investment in your safety and peace of mind. After all, when it comes to electrical installations, what you don’t see can hurt you, so best leave it to the folks who see it all. Stay safe, stay enlightened, and never underestimate the power of a proper electrical job done by the pros. 🔌👌🔌👌🔌👌🔌👌🔌👌🔌👌 #OrkaSolar #Electrical #Thegotoguy #Potchefstroom

  • Potchefstroom’s Skies Ignite as Airshow Delivers Thrills and Community Cheer

Potchefstroom’s winter skies came alive on Saturday, 7 June 2025, as the much-anticipated annual airshow transformed the local airfield into a festival of flight. Under a crisp blue canopy, aircraft of every shape and vintage thundered, tumbled and glided in a program designed to thrill aviators and families alike. From stunning aerobatics to nostalgic warbird fly-pasts, and from sizzling braais to buzzing exhibition tents, the event delivered a full-day celebration of aviation and community spirit. The morning kicked off with precision formation flying by a colorful array of stunt planes. Extra 300 monoplanes, their smoke trails carving bright arcs overhead, shared the sky with classic Pitts Special biplanes performing tight loops and graceful rolls. Spectators craned their necks as the Flying Lions’ four-ship Harvard trainers lumbered into position and billowed thick white smoke in perfect synchrony. Later in the day, the unmistakable roar of “Mustang Sally” , a polished P-51D Mustang, drew spontaneous applause as it ripped through a series of low, sweeping passes. In an unexpected treat, this WWII-era fighter even teamed up with an Extra 330 for a rare dual act, pairing vintage beard-shaking power with modern aerobatic finesse. Thrills continued when veteran stunt pilot Scully Levin performed his signature truck-top landing. With nerves of steel, he guided a bright yellow Piper Cub onto the flatbed of a moving truck, touching down on its roof in a maneuver that left the crowd gasping and then erupting in cheers. Not to be outdone, a privately owned Aero L-39 Albatros jet, its gray fuselage gleaming under the sun, screamed along the runway in multiple low-level passes. Although aerobatic loops and rolls were restricted by regulation, the jet’s raw velocity and thunderous engine notes more than compensated. Adding a touch of silence and elegance, local glider champion Oscar wove his Jonker JS-3 sailplane through the air, trailing smoke in delicate spirals before engaging a small sustainer engine for a final, graceful fly-past set to stirring music. On the ground, the airshow felt as much like a community festival as an aviation event. A cluster of food trucks and marquees offered an irresistible spread of gourmet burgers, traditional braai fare, “Chip ’n Dip” fries and icy treats, the aroma of sizzling boerewors mingling with the scent of jet exhaust. Children darted between face-painting booths and a toddler play area, while parents relaxed on picnic blankets or settled into deck chairs under branded umbrellas in the beer garden. Between aerial acts, upbeat commentary and music kept everyone’s spirits high, and the wide grassy viewing area buzzed with conversation, laughter and camera shutters. Nearby, a row of vendor tents showcased everything from pilot training programs to static displays of modern and vintage aircraft. Visitors peered into the cockpit of a Cirrus SR22, climbed into a retired Alouette III helicopter for a photo op, or chatted with representatives from local flight schools about lessons and career pathways. A dedicated merchandise booth sold commemorative T-shirts and the 20th-anniversary airshow book, while craft stalls offered aviation-themed art and model airplanes. High-school volunteers manned a charity stall, selling raffle tickets to support veterans’ causes, and a handful of local businesses handed out promotional giveaways, further reinforcing the festival atmosphere. As the sun dipped lower, families and aviation buffs alike reflected on a day that blended high-octane stunts with friendly camaraderie. Spectators applauded the seamless pacing of the program, where moments of adrenaline were balanced by leisurely breaks perfect for exploring the grounds or grabbing a bite. The collective gasp at the truck-top landing and the thunderous ovation for Mustang Sally’s passes became the show’s defining echoes, replayed eagerly on social media and in conversations long after engines fell silent. For many, it wasn’t just the roar of propellers and turbines that made the day memorable, it was the chance to share a communal experience: a tribute to skill, history and the sheer joy of flight under the vast South African sky. In all, the 2025 Potchefstroom Airshow delivered a diverse showcase of aerobatics, warbird nostalgia and community-centered festivities. It proved once again that whether you came for the daring in-flight maneuvers or the relaxed picnic vibe among friends and family, Potchefstroom’s air-and-ground spectacle offered a rich, full-day adventure, one that will be talked about until engines fire up again next year. • Tailored Comfort: Elevating Healthcare and Hospitality Uniforms in North West

Professionals in healthcare and hospitality know that what they wear is more than just clothing,it's a key part of their work. Frontline staff in both sectors need attire that can withstand long, hectic shifts while still looking crisp and professional. Image : The Go-To Guy Creations In Potchefstroom and across the North West Province, Haya Collection  provides uniforms that meet these demands by combining comfort and durability. This article explores why lightweight, durable uniforms are essential in these fields, how medical scrubs have evolved over the last century, and what sets Haya Collection apart as a local uniform supplier. The Importance of Lightweight, Durable Uniforms Wearing the right uniform isn’t just about appearance,it directly impacts performance, safety, and confidence on the job. In both hospitals and hospitality settings, a high-quality uniform offers several benefits: Comfort and Mobility Breathable, lightweight fabrics help workers stay cool and move freely during long shifts . Nurses and waitstaff on their feet all day experience less fatigue when their attire is flexible and well-fitted. Hygiene and Safety Professional uniforms act as a barrier against spills and contaminants. For example, restaurant uniforms made of special fabrics can resist stains and bacteria, keeping both staff and customers safe. In healthcare, scrubs are designed for easy washing and disinfecting to maintain strict cleanliness standards. Professional Image   A neat, matching uniform instantly signals expertise and credibility. Uniforms reinforce a brand’s identity in hospitality and foster trust in medical environments. Durability Quality uniforms endure daily wear and frequent laundering. Investing in durable workwear means the clothing retains its shape and color over time , saving money and ensuring staff always look put-together. From Starched Whites to Modern Scrubs: A Century of Evolution Medical attire has come a long way in the last 100 years. In the early 20th century, nurses typically wore full-length dresses with aprons and caps , a style introduced by Florence Nightingale decades earlier. Doctors often performed procedures in everyday clothes, sometimes adding a simple apron to protect from stains. By the 1940s, awareness of infection control led to the first use of dedicated medical uniforms. Surgeons and nurses donned sterilized gowns, and hospitals favored head-to-toe white attire to symbolize cleanliness. This all-white approach changed by the 1960s. Bright white uniforms showed stains too easily and even caused eye strain under harsh operating room lights, so medical staff began wearing green or blue “scrubs” instead. By the late 20th century, scrubs had become the standard uniform for healthcare professionals, valued for their comfort, affordability, and ease of sterilization. Today’s scrubs come in a variety of colors and fabrics, but they continue the legacy of being lightweight, hygienic, and professional attire for those who care for others.
