After the damage was repaired and the door reinforced with burglar-proofing, Popo allegedly shifted his focus to another flat belonging to a tenant currently away from Klerksdorp. On Tuesday afternoon, he was said to have forced entry into this second unit and moved in personal belongings. Escalation With Armed Group Witnesses claim the situation intensified when Popo returned with a group of men arriving in a taxi. The group, allegedly armed with guns and knives, sought to secure the flat and reportedly intimidated residents who resisted. The confrontation raised fears of violence, particularly after a gunshot was fired, causing panic among families and children living in the block. Police Intervention Law enforcement officers were called to the scene, where they removed the belongings and warned that the break-in constituted unlawful entry. By Wednesday, he reportedly attempted to install burglar-proofing to secure the property for himself.
