Rijk Geel doen ‘live portraits’, daar is die mooiste gedroogde blomme waarmee jy jou eie ruiker kan maak en dan praat ons nie eers van die geure en reuke wat jou in dié tent groet nie. Die aanwysings na die feesterrein is voldoende en die parkering is goed uiteengelê, met karwagte wat regoor die perseel sigbaar is. Image: Volkies Potch 🌧️ Dag 1 – Nasionale Skole Finaal Onder moeilike weersomstandighede (reën, koue en wind) het ons dapper Volkies hul staal gewys teen van die beste skole in die land. Ten spyte van die uitdagings het die span hul met trots van hul taak gekwyt en uiteindelik 43ste geëindig uit 126 skole, insluitend internasionale teenstanders soos ’n span uit Namibië. ’n Prestasie wat nie ligtelik opgeneem moet word nie! ☀️ Dag 2 – Provinsiale Finaal Na ’n dag van bibberkoue, het dag twee se Provinsiale Finaal onder 'n brandende son plaasgevind. Die North West Schools Cycling-span, waar ons Volkies deel van is, het hul teenwoordigheid behoorlik laat geld met indrukwekkende uitslae. 🌟 Volkie-Gees en Deursettingsvermoë Elke ryer het nie net fisieke uithouvermoë getoon nie, maar ook ongelooflike deursettingsvermoë, spanwerk en trots . Hierdie naweek het gewys dat ons Volkies nie terugdeins vir uitdagings nie, of dit nou reën of son is! Baie geluk aan al ons fietsryers. The highly anticipated event promises a day filled with community spirit, sport, music, and entertainment. A Day to Celebrate Sport and Talent The Basketball Court Launch  will feature a vibrant lineup of live performances by PCYC Dance Crew, Charpey Lowkey, Morena Youngee, RoseGold Rani, and Geevo G, ensuring that the celebration captures the energy and creativity of local talent. Serving as MC for the day is Zinhle Gama from PUKFM, bringing her signature enthusiasm to guide the festivities. Honouring Sporting Excellence The event’s Guest of Honour, Ms. Thesline Davids, will bring her wealth of experience as Head Coach of the SA U16 Girls National Team, USSA Ladies National Team, University of Pretoria Ladies Team, and the BNL Egoli Magic Ladies Team. Her presence underscores the importance of investing in grassroots sports and developing young athletes from township communities.
